  1. In case anyone doesn't get the above reference.
  2. QUOTE (Rooftop Shots @ Feb 19, 2011 -> 05:36 AM) AKA Bee Bee Richards.
  3. QUOTE (ScottyDo @ Feb 17, 2011 -> 02:51 PM) It's strange to think that Sale has never even been to spring training before, he's so firmly entrenched on the team. I guess he wouldn't really know his way around Camelback. He'd never been west of Kansas City before he got to AZ.
  4. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 16, 2011 -> 09:39 AM) We just don't have a cute little story to go along with us. We were never cursed, we're not lovable when we lose, we're usually in contention but we're not consistently great. It's that simple really, we're just an above average franchise who apparently isn't too fun to talk about, just wait until Ozzie is gone, we'll really never get mentioned unless we're winning championships. So to make a long story short , we're just not sexy enough !
  5. I saw the segment you're talking about on the injured players who can come back and make an impact. Also surprised Peavy got no mention but ( and I didn't catch it from the beginning) it seemed like they were using a lot of fan comments from their facebook page so maybe none of us Sox fans said anything about Peavy on the MLB network's FB page.
  6. QUOTE (knightni @ Feb 16, 2011 -> 09:16 AM) Here we go: I was going to try and find that ! Steve Lyons.
  7. QUOTE (Rooftop Shots @ Feb 16, 2011 -> 07:36 AM) Roy Smalley??? Think The Doors.
  8. QUOTE (YASNY @ Feb 16, 2011 -> 07:01 AM) I'm actually amazed that I remembered Herrmann and Martin's number. This will help : http://whitesoxcards.net/numbers/index.htm
  9. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 15, 2011 -> 11:46 PM) Antonio Osuna. Very good !
  10. I think it would be cool to find the numbers on the back of current or former Sox players.
  11. I'll take the silver slugger , range rover and cuban missile ,Alexei.
  12. RIP Chuck. He loved him some Dick Allen. I shall wear my red Sox cap in your memory.
  13. QUOTE (joeynach @ Feb 9, 2011 -> 06:50 PM) I hope that Morel can really excite some people and have a solid rookie campaign kinda like Beckham did. I actually have a gut feeling that Morel is going to be just fine, play good Defense and hit at something like a .260/.330/.410 clip. Its the white sox highly touted prospects that never work out and always disappoint, but this mid level expectation prospect may actually work out. I agree and think Morel has a chance at ROY.
  14. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 3, 2011 -> 09:20 PM) Did he? I'm not saying your wrong. I just don't recall. I remember the Nationals being brought up. But I remember it being a minor league deal being possibly offered. Just read the article in the main post. It says he had a few.
  15. He had major league offers last year,probably more than one. His own fault he is being forced into retirement.
  16. QUOTE (ScottyDo @ Feb 3, 2011 -> 04:25 PM) Wow, I knew he came up early but I forgot he's only 25. This could be a great signing. Also, when it was previously mentioned on this board, I didn't think a $500k mL deal was a possibility. At that price, how could you say no?? I brought it up earlier but I'll be damned if I can find it without search.
