  3. QUOTE (southsidepride15 @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 05:49 PM) That'll work! Long single
  4. QUOTE (southsidepride15 @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 05:41 PM) Andruw hits #400 this inning. Book it. Close but no cigar .
  5. Let's keep the streak going to another 11.
  6. QUOTE (stretchstretch @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 02:22 PM) good laugh, used to carry Garr's baseball card around in my wallet when I was 6yrs old....not sure why, probably the only one I owned at the time, can distinctly remember standing on a corner of Archer and St. Louis showing it to a friend, had the collared jersey possibly the shorts.....good times I bet you like the Roadrunner cartoon too. Mee meep !!
  7. It's not the names on the back of the jersey that counts. It's the name on the front.
  8. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 04:30 PM) It was a great sweep, but isn't it crazy how awful the Angels played? I haven't seen them play so fundamentally poor in a long time. That team needs to replace Morales' offense. The Angels played way worse than any of the NL teams we faced yet everyone's now on the bandwagon because its the Angels. Can't figure you guys out. You're all going to raise some psychotic kids some day.
  9. Stupid announcer on post game keeps calling him Bobby Danks .
  10. QUOTE (knightni @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 01:37 AM) No CSN in Michigan. If you get DirecTV there could be.
  11. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 09:42 AM) I think he's more of a Micky Mantle type player. Sure maybe he can learn to switch hit like Mantle and play CF and run like the wind then he'll be just like him.
  12. QUOTE (Greg Hibbard @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 09:31 AM) Was there really just a comparison to arguably the greatest right handed hitter of all time? HA yes there was. I like to think big. I thought the comparisons to Uribe were a little conservative so I went large.
  13. Oh man no Bridge and Tank. I've been enjoying the Sox winning with them in the lineup.
  14. IMHO he has huge upside as a hitter. He's 21 that's so young and he's already a masher against lefties. The pitchers will find out you can't pitch this kid on the outside corner because he'll just crush it right. Sooner or later he's going to take his walks when the pitchers learn how dangerous he is. By the time he's 23 he could be a another Pujols in the making.
  15. QUOTE (TitoMB @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 06:09 PM) And we need a glossary for Brent's nicknames: Lillikid Lillibomber Lilliputian What else have we thrown around for this kid? I call him Luvinbridge when he does well.
