  1. Fox sucks. Got the Dodgers/Yanks game and Lasorda, Reggie Jackson and Billy Crystal have all been in the booth but no freakin' updates or highlights on other games.
  2. Still need a hitter 15 hits in last 3 victories if I'm remembering right.
  3. QUOTE (hi8is @ Jun 25, 2010 -> 07:15 PM) I shoud eat crow more often. This streak started after I started a thread saying it wasn't over and that we could still do this. That day we got killed and I gave up hope. Since then - wow - just wow! Yea and I called you the man until I saw that give up post but I wasn't sure if you were serious.
  4. QUOTE (JohnCangelosi @ Jun 25, 2010 -> 05:06 PM) I live in Eastern Europe, where it's a bit more common for an apparent old timer like me at 38 to have a 20 yr old GF. And they actually are a bit more traditional over here so they don't mind being regarded as a sex object like the women in the USA do...especially in Ukraine... So with that said, here we go, can't believe I am doing this...LOL http://www.matt-connelly.com/julia Sox fans you'll love Eastern Europe! Come on out, you can go to the clubs, get some drinks, see some beautiful women, and come home at 2AM just in time for the Sox game!!! :-) Damn man good for you . 3rd pic the best. And not only was I born but graduating high school. Spirit of 76 bicentennial ! Red white and blue tassels on the grad cap.
  5. Just got home and saw Sox won 6-0 and Zambrano blew up at Lee. Don't know anything else. Will know soon hahaha 10 !
  6. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 24, 2010 -> 04:01 PM) No apologies necessary! Great minds think alike ?
  7. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Jun 24, 2010 -> 03:52 PM) As the Beatles would say No. 9 , No. 9, No. 9 . Apologies to SS2k5 . I really didn't think anyone would make the reference I just made so I posted it beforre reading the thread only to see it in the very 1st post. ha !
  8. As the Beatles would say No. 9 , No. 9, No. 9 .
  9. I remember Hiatus in one thread said he was in and after some particularly bad game and pretty much everyone saying how bad the Sox were, he said forget it it's over, though I have no idea if he was serious or not.
  10. Personally I have no solution whatsoever , leave it the way it is now , Any combination of Vizquel, Viciedo, Beckham and Lilliputian is acceptable depending on who's pitching. If Lilliputian shows in his limited appearances to be good at turning a DP and getting on base that could afford us an opportunity to send Beckham down.
  11. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 23, 2010 -> 10:34 PM) Great win. I forget which of you were preaching during our worst times of April and May that the season wasn't over and we might still turn it around, but I congratulate you. You should remind us who you were with your most positive post(s). I know there were at least 2 of you maybe 3-4-5. I just couldn't see it. It was easy to disagree/mock you upon reading them at that time. No matter what happens the rest of the way, I'm going to try to temper my bitterness/anger because I never ever thought this team could get its s*** together after playing so badly for week atter week. -- Can CQ be getting hot?? Would be very nice. Great job tonight by him. -- I guess if the team immediately goes in the tank after returning to AL competition it might be easy to rip the team again, but my god, great job White Sox in rolling the past couple weeks. Wow. I never gave up . The pitching hitting and defense were all so bad it just couldn't continue especially with so many with proven track records all going bad at the same time. Now the pitching and defense are above average while the hitting isn't as bad as before and very good recently with RISP. In April I think a lot more than 4 or 5 were saying its too early to give up but as we got into the 1st week of June it had dwindled to only maybe 10 or less. So many people post and some post rarely so the repetitive nature of the negative posts far outweighs those willing to fight the good fight against the wave of en masse disbelievers.
  12. Q did this one with no one on. Got a high changeup and destroyed it.
  13. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Jun 23, 2010 -> 08:06 PM) way to nut up - that looked like a big inning there Supposedly Hawks traded Big Buff, Sopel and Eager to Atlanta.
