Jenks is the man and he has been for a while. He was a gift out of nowhere who was a huge a part of the magical 2005 season. Not trying to say he is the same pitcher he was then , but all these panic attacks about Jenks bother me. He has evolved into what is he now . He doesn't have the same over powering fastball he once did but how long could that actually be done by any pitcher especially one with a screw in his elbow.
Let's all just back away from the ledge and give the man his due. Until he starts blowing saves on a consistent basis I don't care how inconsistent his stuff is. Nothing comes easy that's life. Bottom line you either get the save or you don't. If your hearts can't take the drama give up watching baseball and take up knitting. It teaches you patience which I don't see a helluva lot around here.

It's way more fun to watch Sportscenter and BBTN when we win.
That's so yesterday. MLB network is where it's at now

Nice inning for JJ. Now lets go take it in the ninth!
If you can't say anything negative don't say anything at all.

It wasn't a joke... you said "Ron Santos?" What's the punchline?
I'm so tempted not even to explain it but Ron Santo ? Don't know who that is ? I know it's silly but it's kind of high strung around here.

Thank for blowing the game ozzie and williams.
Kinda weird statement . Williams walk one guy, faces one batter and he blew the game ? How about Peavy who gave up all the runs and the previous 2 hitters with a walk and HBP ? Way too much dumping on a guy who was put into a position where 1 bad pitch means a lead for Toronto.

And that team was considered a big failure by everyone...because we didn't make the playoffs and come close to defending our World Series title.
By White Sox standards, sure, a 90 win season is a relative rarity, but I don't think many fans felt content that year, certainly not after being 26 games over .500 at the ASB.
Just an example to show teams who start bad can turn it around.
