If Frank retires I would be shocked. He knows he can still hit. That lower leg area was like a toothpick. If he can build muscle to better support the bone structure while rehabbing I definitely see him giving it another shot.

I guess if its not in green some people don't get the sarcasm. Even if it wasnt in green and there wasnt a 2nd paragraph near the bottom of the post I still don't see how anyone could think Sonik was serious.

It's still a little too early to try that, but I like the idea. If the Sox still have a 10+ game lead on Minnesota after August 20th I think its worth a shot , especially if the offense is still impotent. I'd keep him in the 2 hole but let him swing more how he wants to instead of moving him around in the batting order. He's a smart hitter , I doubt he'd try to pull too many with Pods in scoring position.

If the Sox can start the 2nd half like they started the 1st half the they could very well win the division by 20 games.

Why Hibbard is being attacked I have no idea. Everyone's a critic. Put it in the sports bar , don't be so cryptic. Some of you oldtimers act like you're joined at the hip. Let a guy write the way he wants to write. If the mods have a problem with it something will happen. I'd really like some guidelines , so I know that next time I post a thread I won't offend anyones sensibilities. I know we all need to post the same way. That will really be exciting.
