Is there a difference in the ball between the minors and MLB ?

Yep , like I said the hitter should know very keenly where his hot spots are. By that I mean pitches that he drives well not pitches where you might have a .333 batting average comprised of 90% singles. Singles are great with runners in scoring position but so are 3 run HR's.

LOL I know what you mean . You didn't like Roberts approach so how did that translate to you not liking Judge or Freeman ? Their approaches are fine and they get results. They don't look to hit to RF, they hit the ball where it's pitched. They probably look fastball like Hawk always used to talk about and then adjust to the pitch and they take the pitcher's approach to them into consideration. They look to drive the ball on any pitch and rarely approach 1 AB with anything specific in mind except for looking for their pitch. You should know where your happy spots are and look for something like that every time up and spit on pitches early in the count that aren't in those zones. Pitch recognition is key to a good approach if you have trouble being able to tell the different between a slider and FB you're in trouble anyway so just take more pitches to increase your odds of getting something in your sweet spots. At least you'll be taking more walks and not swinging at so many pitches out of the zone. I see way too many swings on balls off the plate outside and inside. It's like some of these guys have no idea how to recognize pitches or are looking outside so much they can't drive a pitch in the middle of the plate. They get caught leaning.

Yes he can lose it. The rule is if you are behind when you are taken out and your team never catches up no matter how many runs are scored by either team you get the lose. Only if the Sox tie or get the lead will he get a no decision.

Plenty of blame to go around. Hahn didnt have to renew KImbrel's option or resign Leury for 3 years or pay for an injured relief pitcher who then couldn't pitch back to back games until July 1st. Or get another RH player for Kimbrel. He couldn't get a minor leaguer from the Dodgers like Outman ? Hahn sucks and shouldn't ever be defended in any way.

I'm going to guess that Sosa is the 1st White Sox player born in 2000 to hit a HR. Born 1/25/2000. Eloy was the last 22 year old yr old to hit a HR for the Sox on 4/12/2019 when he hit the 1st 2 HR's of his MLB career.

I said bring 4 guys up. Hell Sosa, Romy, Colas and Perez and just IL Leury , Harrison,Grandal or DFA Zavala and send down Sheets and start them all ! If we're going to make fun of Hahn for having a seat at the kiddie table , might as well have the kiddies up so he can have a front row view.

Wouldn't be the worst idea in the world to bring up Romy, Perez and Colas and let all 4 young guys be each other's support group. Leury might be hurting and Harrison too. Send Sheets down , IL Grandal, Leury , Harrison or DFA Zavala. Hand RF to Colas, catcher to Perez, SS to Sosa and 2nd base to Romy and let them sink or swim in the Division race. They might surprise you.
