  1. If Polanco knew Erstad he would have had that one easy.
  2. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Apr 20, 2007 -> 07:31 PM) WTF are you talking about? That was all Uribe's fault. Did you miss Darrin "Waving Arms" Kaline?
  3. QUOTE(beck72 @ Apr 20, 2007 -> 07:14 PM) If Erstad's hitting like this in mid may they won't continue sticking with him. The only guy hitting his more than his weight is Thome. Erstad's bat will be fine. What gives you this confidence?
  4. QUOTE(G&T @ Apr 20, 2007 -> 07:03 PM) Great analysis by the Detroit guys. "That ball is either fair or foul...and it is foul." Is Rick Sutcliffe their new PBP guy?
  5. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Apr 20, 2007 -> 07:01 PM) Has anybody else been having problems with the site of late? I couldn't get on at all last night and I just figured it was server problems, but then I looked this morning from work and there was the entire game thread last night, so I'm wondering if it's my comp. Seems like its server side. I had to refresh a few times to get on.

    So has anyone found a great deal for a 360? I am looking to buy one within the next few weeks. I hear overstock.com is great.
  7. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 19, 2007 -> 09:46 PM) DON'T FRET ASSHOLES I HAVE UP TO THE SECOND JIM THOME STATS! .342/.561/.974/1.535 SUCK ON THAT HATERS! I heard he is struggling right now.
  8. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2007 @ Apr 19, 2007 -> 09:42 PM) Anybody know Thome's current OBP? It was .519 coming into today.
  9. That was about as predictable as an M. Night Shyamalan movie.
  10. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Apr 19, 2007 -> 09:03 PM) Give me a break. 6 IP, 2 ER, less than 80 pitches thrown. Thanks for the insight Mr. Hindsight. 3 ER
  11. QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Apr 19, 2007 -> 11:51 AM) I can tell ya "why". Because he was an asshole. I personally enjoy your explanation.
  12. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 19, 2007 -> 05:27 PM) You're also adding about .100 points of SLG% with Iguchi which becomes quite valuable in the leadoff spot. He is also a .288 hitter in his first 2+ years with RISP as well as a .302 hitter with RISP and 2 outs. Pods over that same stretch is a .247 hitter with RISP and a .248 hitter with RISP and 2 out.
  13. QUOTE(southsideirish @ Apr 19, 2007 -> 04:47 PM) Since when is Iguchi speedy or high OBP? I don't get it. Plus, I read the whole thing, and you never mentioned who you wanted. Nixon and Delluci is better than what we have now or are they the same? You would pay more for the same thing we already have? Please give some better ideas than that and don't just say someone did a horrible job but then have no solution or other option. The only way he did a horrible job is if he had another better option and didn't get it done, which I can't see. In Iguchi's first two years in the league his OBP was .342 and .352. Pods was .351 and .330 in those two years. Iguchi can get on base just as much, if not more than Pods. In the last two seasons Pods SB% has been 71% and 67%. Iguchi's is 75% and 68% (albeit he attempted less bags). Iguchi can perform just as good of a job if not better than what Pods has given us the last two years. Also, he doesn't hurt his groin constantly.
  14. QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Apr 19, 2007 -> 04:54 PM) boo f***ing hoo. you should have done more with the opportunity handed to you last year. I would hardly consider 405 plate appearances being "handed" any opportunity.
  15. QUOTE(SoxAce @ Apr 18, 2007 -> 10:33 PM) Even you missed the game Willie? He is probably breaking furniture as we speak.
