  1. QUOTE(Harry&JimmyRocked @ Feb 17, 2006 -> 08:54 AM) did you guys catch this part about strange injuries? 3. Diamondbacks outfield prospect Chris Young breaks his hand jumping up and down off boxes during an agility workout -- meaning he won't be quite as agile for most of spring training. The stuff he was doing kinda sounds similar to the workout routine that Adam Archuleta made popular back before he was drafted.
  2. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Feb 16, 2006 -> 06:22 PM) Was that the time Maggs threw a really girly kick at someone?? Yeah, wasn't it Jeff Weaver or Robert Fick he gave a flying kick to?
  3. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Feb 16, 2006 -> 03:34 PM) Farns went after a pitcher that wasnt even involved in the fight. Hes a homo. Exactly. He will fit right in on the Yankees with A-Rod and his purse.
  4. Think I already let zoom know but i'm back again.
  5. That's pretty awesome. Classy move by the Sox.
  6. QUOTE(Texsox @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 12:45 PM) Of the low end beers, Miller is my favorite. Give me High Life. I'm just not a Lite fan. I always thought of Hamms and Old Style with the Cubs. Royal Crown >>>> Coke >>>>>>>> Pepsi Don't you mean Crown Royal & Coke = Yum?
  7. Sadly I can identify with all of this list. 1983 represent hahah.
  8. QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Feb 7, 2006 -> 08:12 PM) Comparing Lendale to Dayne is just not a good comparison. I mean you first have to understand the Wisconsin run scheme, and that they run the stretch play which Dayne is a master at (see Denver Broncos game this year). White will be faster and stronger than Dayne, he also hits the hole like a big back not like a shifty Dayne. I am comparing him to Dayne in how effective of an NFL back I feel he will be. From the games I have seen of White during his career at USC I saw a guy that benefitted quite a bit from an excellent O-Line. It's just from my observations that White lacks the explosiveness and skills to succeed at the next level. Hell I could be completely wrong and he could turn into the next Jim Brown. I guess were just gonna have to wait and see how things shake out.
  9. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Feb 7, 2006 -> 07:38 PM) Anybody think Lendale White is projecting too high in most of these mocks? Yes, I have a feeling that without an elite O-Line blocking for him he might turn into Ron Dayne II.
  10. Thanks a lot guys. I appreciate all the input. Wong i'll definitely PM you if I have any questions.
  11. Hey guys, i'm currently pricing and trying to figure out what kind of car i'd like to buy. I'm trying to find a site with some decent classifides ad's and listings from dealerships. I have looked at autotrader.com and cars.com some and they are decent but I was wondering if anyone knew of any other site that might have a large variety or if there were any suggestions as to where might be better to look. Any ideas would be appreciated.
  12. QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Feb 3, 2006 -> 09:46 PM) Yep. This is how you build a 1-2-3 rotation: 2005/2006 Stephon Marbury $16,500,000 Penny Hardaway $15,750,000 Allan Houston $19,125,000 Jalen Rose $15,700,000 Quentin Richardson $7,000,000 Shannon Anderson $6,700,000 Jamal Crawford $6,500,000 Maurice Taylor $9,100,000 $95+ million, and this is before you tally up the salaries for the frontcourt players, one of which is a huge contract for the heartless, brainless Eddy Curry. WORST FRANCHISE EVER Wow, that is terrible. Thanks for putting together the numbers man. I totally forgot about Allan Houston. That's terrible.
  13. Where they gonna play him? As a SF or what? They already have a log jam at the SG/SF position with Jamal/Q-Rich/Penny/etc.
  14. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Feb 3, 2006 -> 03:30 PM) It doesn't matter who backs Billy. From what I heard, the Pumpkins were pretty much The Billy Corgan Experience anyway. He's a legendary control freak, who allegedly grew so impatient with his band mates, that he played everything on their first two records. Iha and D'arcy were along to give the band a more 'eclectic' image. They have a chick bassist and an Asian guitar player, they must be 'alternative'. What have those two done since leaving that band? Iha is in A Perfect Circle :headshake . I'm not defending Billy, I just don't think it'll matter who the rest of the band is if they're gonna play Pumpkins songs. Not an APC fan? I think i'd prefer to listen to them over the Billy Corgan Show.
  15. QUOTE(The Critic @ Jan 30, 2006 -> 09:41 PM) What did they get for them? Trading those guys may not be that bad of an idea. The Blues are going NOWHERE this year and probably next year either, might as well get some up-and-coming players for them. If they traded them for old guys, then it makes no sense to me. They got youngsters I believe. They are trying to trim payroll a ton so ownership can sell the team.
  16. QUOTE(ChWRoCk2 @ Jan 31, 2006 -> 06:34 AM) All I have to say is that he has given the packers lots of good seasons under their belt and has had an amazing career, I really hope he stays. If he goes Rodgers shouldnt be too bad he does have good receivers to work with but hes no big ben or tom brady. Kinda hard to determine how good/bad Rodgers is when he hasn't started a single NFL game yet. Let's wait and see.
  17. QUOTE(watchtower41 @ Jan 30, 2006 -> 09:12 PM) Agreed. We were one of the only teams in the league with blue seats, now because the park didnt get the media approval during the 2003 All-Star game, they felt it was time to get back to the copy-cat method and try to look like everyone else, esp Wrigley. That was evident with the ivy.... The blue seats were something that made the Cell unique with the new ballparks. I felt they looked great, but oh well, I guess we'll see how much darker it will get. Do you even know who placed the Ivy at Wrigley to begin with?

  19. QUOTE(SnB @ Jan 25, 2006 -> 07:32 PM) holy crap, that was almost 2 years ago. wow, i've been here far too long I thought that was just a few months ago. I'm getting old
  20. QUOTE(YASNY @ Jan 25, 2006 -> 05:31 PM) So that is justification enough for you to be rude to a newbie? Weren't you a newbie once? Have you ever been wrong about something? Besides, that is only your opinion. You know what they say about opinions .... He is just screwin around Yas. I think it is just that a lot of us are tired of newer posters coming in and making bad/repetitive topics. For every one you correct or help about 5 more roll in with equally bad topic ideas.
  21. QUOTE(mr_genius @ Jan 23, 2006 -> 12:52 AM) if she did she should have been arrested for assault. I think it would be battery. Assault is not the actual physical contact from what I remember.
  22. They chased Mike Mularkey out of town for this? Hahah
  23. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Jan 23, 2006 -> 02:54 PM) Yeah, but he made it easy for me not to care about the Bears at that time. At the end, all of his press conferences were comical. My thoughts exactly. It was so sad that it was hilarious.
