  1. Haha, I love how they reffered to Konerko as the "Killer P"
  2. Pretty sure there was another thread and someone said they have them at Grandstand for around $60 bucks.

  4. Welcome aboard. Enjoy the site. Always great to have new members.
  5. Why not have LaRussa do it? He won't be busy this weekend.
  6. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Oct 19, 2005 -> 10:19 PM) I think for Paulie that actually makes sense, if the delivery date was about a week from now or so. Late January - late October? Any MD's here that know better how they come up with those dates? Doesnt' really work for the Rally Baby or for AJ. OMG the Rally Baby haha. That is awesome
  7. QUOTE(Dan @ Oct 19, 2005 -> 02:09 AM) no actually the Buffalo Sabres Actually they didn't have a season last season
  8. QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 08:25 PM) The Sears Tower I thought that was Soldier Field
  9. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 09:50 AM) Bagwell had splits of .300/.423/.450 against lefties this season. But he's also got a -.34 differential for his BA in night games. But we'll have to be careful with him if the Stros do indeed make it. I really don't think a sample size of 100 AB's is a fair way to judge how Bagwell will hit us at all. The guy has barely played at all this year.
  10. QUOTE(Middle Buffalo @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 05:16 PM) Just got 4 for game 1.
  11. QUOTE(CubsSuck1 @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 05:10 PM) Well I have a 15 minute wait for game 2 :rolly Mine is 11
  12. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Oct 17, 2005 -> 07:33 PM) You need to open the color tag with the same thing you have above, then you need to write your sentence, then you need to c lose the color tag with a /color inside [] brackets. Or just highlight the text you want green and go to the color tab and drag it down to green like so
  13. Great article and a lot of class shown by the Angels. I have a lot of respect for them. I laughed my ass off at one part of the article... If the L.A. players don't want to parse the numbers, plenty of people will gladly do it for them. The Angels are home today because they hit .175 in four games against the White Sox, with a .200 on-base percentage and four walks in 163 plate appearances. It's rare that you see an offensive display this inept without Cristian Guzman somewhere in the vicinity. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/playoffs2005...erry&id=2193750 Rest of the article at the link.
  14. Nice to see Brantley admit he was wrong and give the Sox some props. I saw a little bit of that too. My hatred for Brantley has dwindled since we have been winning.
  15. QUOTE(The Bones @ Oct 17, 2005 -> 07:03 AM) I wouldn't really have called it a riot as much as a parade down the streets. Nothing really happened as far as I know. It was just a great experience to share the win with many other Sox fans. Yeah Bones, I heard it out my window but didn't go out to try to catch up with them because they sounded fairly far away. Did you go join in?
  16. Strap it down, settle in and grab a juice box as we ride this to the World Series!!!
  17. This is so f***ing amazing. This is the best baseball in my life! f*** YES!
  18. Time to finish what you started. Let's do this thing boys.
  19. Great article. I really hope Freddy can come out and throw like we know he is capable of and just shut these guys down. This is the biggest game of his career and we know him to be a big game pitcher. I expect nothing but a ballsy effort from Freddy.
  20. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Oct 15, 2005 -> 07:53 AM) Your "defence impact ratio" got me thinking... So I compared each teams DER [(Defensive Efficiency ratio) which is simply the % of Balls in play converted into outs] to their ERA I got a correlation of -.839 -- As the DER comes down (less Balls in play converted into outs) the ERA goes up. Obviously, this is to be expected, but .839 is not all that strong. Especially when you consider that Team OBP correlates to Runs scored at about .92 and Team OPS correlates to runs scored at about .95 *** Those correlations are from memory, so they may not be 100% accurate, but they're close.
  21. I hope they teach this to all the guys on the Knicks. They might need it.
  22. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Oct 14, 2005 -> 11:00 PM) Game Chat will be rocking tonight. Can't wait to see all of you there. Hosted by the usual suspects, the people's admin and NUKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wish I could be there for chat. Enjoy it boys.
  23. What a messed up situation with Macha. So he is signed through 2008 now? Billy must have put in a clause that he would have to walk Macha's dogs or something.
  24. Let's kick some ass tonight Jonny. Show these chumps why you kicked ass the whole first half.
