  1. This whole article is pure speculation by the Southtown just looking for something to talk about on a day off for the Sox. There is exactly 1 quote in the whole article about this and it is Ozzie quoted as saying that Dye is a good enough athlete to play just about anywhere. They don't know any more than we do.
  2. I loved you in "Honey I Shrunk the Kids"
  3. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 09:14 PM) good points. And we know if he was roiding, he probably would be sorry about it too.
  4. I don't know if anyone will read it but.... Richie Sexson: 2004: 23G 90AB 20R 21H 9HR 23RBI .233AVG .337OBP (Injured and out for season) 2005: 156G 558AB 99R 147H 39HR 121RBI .263AVG .369OBP
  5. QUOTE(Giv20 @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 04:38 PM) Picasso - DEAD Ray Rayner - DEAD Jean Shepherd - DEAD RedSox - DEAD Gotta love the Animal House references.

  7. QUOTE(The Bones @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 02:20 AM) Talking about how Tony G would be the best player on the White Sox. Wait a second, he already is.
  8. And props to Fathom for admitting that when the manager does his job correctly he will acknowledge it. Great post fathom.

  12. QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Oct 5, 2005 -> 06:51 AM) You would think reading their writers and listening to their fans that the Red Sox didn't just win the WS last year, but the last three or four years straight - as if all those whippings at the hands of the yankees never happened, all those crushing defeats a mirage, all those collapses (including this season's loss of the division in the last two weeks) a mere fable. What a f***ing joke. Like ScottyDo said, I like how he tried to take digs at the city while trying to seem emotionally detatched. A real sports writer would realize that the lack of starting pitching - especially in a short series - is serious cause for concern, not smug potshots and baseless boasting. Pinning your hopes on an overweight 42 year-old so past his prime that he can't even see it in his rearview mirror is the real fantasy here.
  13. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Oct 5, 2005 -> 04:43 AM) What are you talking about? How did Jamal Crawford launching up brick after brick and playing no defense ever hurt our record in previous years? You mean launching 50 foot jumpers isn't a smart thing to do?!
  14. QUOTE(Spiff @ Oct 5, 2005 -> 05:54 AM) to quote Reynolds "Boston's lack of pitching is an advantage." How my head kept from exploding I'll never know.
  15. Haha, my buddy sent that to me last week some time. I nearly vomited reading that s***. It was so awful.
  16. QUOTE(qwerty @ Oct 5, 2005 -> 04:09 AM) Jamal Crawford is one of the biggest meatheads on Earth.
  17. QUOTE(Reddy @ Oct 5, 2005 -> 04:06 AM) i honestly think if we bunt the s*** out of him early it'll tire him out and f*** with his head. i'd love to see that even tho i know it wont actually happen that way With Oz you never know. It will be an interesting game tomorrow.
  18. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Oct 5, 2005 -> 03:42 AM) The only thing to be afraid of with Wells is that the Sox dont crack up laughing when he rolls his tubby ass out there on the mound dropping donuts and pork chops in his wake. RIP EM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAH...pork chops in his wake. I can't breathe ahah
  19. Is it me or did the Anaheim crowd not seem very into the game?
