  2. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Sep 14, 2005 -> 04:59 AM) AlfonSixa?
  3. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 14, 2005 -> 04:44 AM) I thought he strained a muscle? Sorry, I was just being an idiot Fathom. First I have heard of a strain though. I'll try to find out.
  4. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 14, 2005 -> 04:42 AM) What's Widger's status? Awesome.
  5. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 14, 2005 -> 04:36 AM) According to Hawk, he's our anchor. I'm not so sure with this offense that's something to be proud of. If by anchor he means he is pulling down this sinking ship of an offense, then yes I agree.
  6. QUOTE(greg775 @ Sep 14, 2005 -> 04:33 AM) Sisco kid was a friend of mine ... not I love it.
  7. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 14, 2005 -> 04:29 AM) Iguchi's defense continues to just deteriorate. Not saying he should have made the play, but Hawk seems to think he could have. Hawk is a complete idiot more and more lately.
  8. Time for Cliff to give up the two inherited runers? That would be a perfect kick in the nuts for everyone staying up to watch the game.
  9. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 14, 2005 -> 04:18 AM) Not to bash the guy, but that's what has plagued Contreras his entire career. Yeah, I know. Along with the inability for our pitchers to pitch over errors.
  10. How the hell can you cruise for five innings and then have a complete meltdown? This is mind boggling.
  11. Oh noz, its the professional hitter MATT STAIRS!!!!!
  12. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 14, 2005 -> 04:12 AM) Time for Contreras to make a good pitch. We're one hit away from this being a close game again. Heheh.
  13. Crede is gonna have a nice black and blue spot on his chest after that one.
  14. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Sep 13, 2005 -> 11:37 PM) I believe he actually said terrified, not frightened. Yeah yeah, I realized that after I typed it and was too lazy to edit it
  15. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 13, 2005 -> 10:21 PM) Like I said, just another thing that has taken place which leads me to believe something has gone awfully wrong with this organization in the last few months. What do you feel has gone awfully wrong? What speculation have you?
  16. I am frightened beyond the capacity for rational thought.
  17. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Sep 13, 2005 -> 05:43 AM) Perhaps apologizing for his s***ty performances with New York? He hit .251 in his second season with New York, and he hit .208 in his second, and was plagued by that worm or whatever it was that he had. He had 2 second seasons?
  18. QUOTE(qwerty @ Sep 13, 2005 -> 06:38 AM) Aubrey huff's ops over the last four years... 2002= .884. 2003= .922. 2004= .853. 2005= .740. Huff has declined the last two years signifigantly. He is doing so in a time period when most players hit their primes (28-32). He is currently 28 and will be turning 29 in december. Bacially, huff is a younger but more expensive version of out current number three hitter, carl everett. If it was up to me neither would be on the sox next year, especially as one of our big offensive weapons. Neither huff, everett, or tracy our three holes hitters in my opinion. The way they are currently hitting everett and huff are best suited sixth and tracy fifth. Who do you suggest we puruse Qwerty? Any realistic ideas? Just wondering your thoughts on the subject.
  19. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Sep 13, 2005 -> 03:58 AM) Slugger. Oh how I loathe him. Think he knows Scooter?
  20. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Sep 13, 2005 -> 04:30 AM) Vick is going to be a great QB. He can beat you with his legs and his arm. Ron Mexico can also beat you with his wide variety of STD's Anyway it was a pretty good game. Surprised how close it was.
  21. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Sep 12, 2005 -> 09:23 PM) LMAO, Garland will get nowhere near $10M in arbitration, they don't just look at the half a good season he had they look at his career numbers when arbitration cases are heard. And as for "the fans don't support them" BULL f***ING s***. The Sox have already drawn over 2 million people this year, how is that not supporting a team? If the Sox want to resign Konerko they will, they have the money to do it. That's right Kalapse. Don't arbiters look at 3 year splits when deciding cases?
  22. If by some way we do not make the playoffs I don't expect Oswaldo to receive a warm reception in Chicago or at Soxfest.
  23. QUOTE(Spod=Ratings @ Sep 12, 2005 -> 03:40 AM) ya and i know they couldnt of kept wahle and Rivera, but those loses are going to hurt a lot more then people think Agreed, you can already see how much worse their line is with the two of them gone. A year of this s*** with Brett getting knocked around and I am pretty sure he won't want to come back to it. Hell, his head didn't even seem in the game today. However, as sad as it is to say it, the Pack will need to lose a little to be able to rebulild, grow and flourish again as a dominant team. I am glad we have a guy like Thopmson making the tough cuts and decisions to fix the cap and hopefully turn this ship in the right direction. I am interested to see what his plans are.
  24. QUOTE(Spod=Ratings @ Sep 12, 2005 -> 02:39 AM) trust me its much worse for a packer fan then a fantasy owner ^^^^^ After watching the Pack today however, I have come to the conclusion that the Pack are in a bit of a rebuilding mode. Ted Thompson is clearing a ton of cap room to make some changes next year. I have a feeling this year was a wash for Ted and he plans to remodel this team next season and try to re-load for a new era. Hopefully it is as good as the Pack of the 90's
