  1. QUOTE(UofIChiSox @ Aug 16, 2005 -> 07:21 PM) Uribe, he's so hot right now, Uribe. Someone been watching Zoolander? Hansel?
  2. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Aug 16, 2005 -> 08:16 PM) Why must you do that? I think we have established by now that for the most part I'll use proper grammar but at times there will be a serious slip up and I'll do something stupid like that. If really want to find something wrong with my posts, just about every one contains a comma splice. I just couldn't help myself

    Celebrity Crush

    Haha, I just busted out laughing when I saw Skippy there.
  4. QUOTE(GoSox05 @ Aug 16, 2005 -> 07:34 PM) denver has good running backs cause of there godamn ilegal chop blocks. there offensive line has ended a couple seasons for some DE Exactly. I hate Denver, they deserve anything coming to them. Maybe they can find a way to pay some guys off the books and land another Superbowl. :fyou Denver Clarett and Denver deserve eachother.
  5. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Aug 16, 2005 -> 07:57 PM) It's not about what they're getting in return. It's about the fact that he is the team leader, the best player on that team and nearly the only major leaguer they have. If they dump him, Royals fans will have 0 reason to watch the games. Kotchman for Sweeney is more than enough for the Royals to except the trade, they're not going to get much more than that during the offseason. "Except" a trade? I think you mean "accept". Grammar police coming at ya!
  6. QUOTE(diehard chisox 1427 @ Aug 16, 2005 -> 03:07 PM) OK people, Paulie didn't run it out. OH WELL. He is one of the best first basemen in the league. All of you Paulie haters are complete idiots if you want to see such a great offensive weapon leave. Get a clue people, Paulie is awesome. So because in your mind he is one of the best 1B in the league that means he doesn't have to hustle? You can't be a great offensive weapon if you can't even hustle into 2nd because you are admiring a homer that you didn't get.
  7. QUOTE(daa84 @ Aug 16, 2005 -> 03:29 AM) . and hawk is just being dumb and drinking too much koolaid believing this team is on a mission from god Best part of your quote right there
  8. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Aug 16, 2005 -> 02:11 AM) Where's the fire in this team? They have looked awfully complacent lately. Maybe having a big lead is not necessarily a good thing. Big lead won't last long if we keep playing like this.
  9. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 16, 2005 -> 01:23 AM) Hawk's about an inning away from blaming the umps, isn't he? You called it.
  10. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 16, 2005 -> 01:26 AM) That wasn't a very difficult catch. Even that has-been Griffey Jr. could have caught that.
  11. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 16, 2005 -> 01:18 AM) Is this considered a Contreras meltdown? I believe this would be the Cuban Pitching Crisis.
  12. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Aug 16, 2005 -> 01:05 AM) BUT WHERE WILL GRIFFEY PLAY!!!! He WAS one of the best but he just can't compete with Aaron and Scotty!! I also like how they never address him playing DH. Just seems like they avoid that completely.
  13. QUOTE(Brian @ Aug 16, 2005 -> 01:03 AM) WHat was Hawk's Mariotti rant about? I was on the phone and just heard Hawk mention his name. Just calling him a hypocrite and saying he has pictures of someone to be able to keep his job. Usual Hawk rant about Mariotti.
  14. P is for pathetic for our offensive approach today.
  15. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 16, 2005 -> 12:54 AM) I refuse to believe that our 9-1 of Crede and Timo couldn't get the job done.
  16. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Aug 16, 2005 -> 12:34 AM) Griffey hit his 27th HR today. He's 2-2 thus far. But Hawk says we have nowhere to put him in the lineup!!!
  17. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 16, 2005 -> 12:40 AM) Hawk saying where's Griffey Jr. going to play? Translation = he's not coming here. Oh gee, I dunno Hawk. Considering he would instantly become the best hitter on our team I am sure we could find a spot for him.
  18. QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Aug 15, 2005 -> 02:28 AM) Today i saw Four Brothers and I loved it. It's extremely powerful. It seems anything John Singleton touches turns to gold. Andre Benjamin was very good as was Tyrese and Mark Wahlburg and Terrence Howard. I agree. Just saw Four Brothers last night and really enjoyed it. I wasn't thinking of seeing it really and then by some fluke saw part of Ebert and Ropert with a friend of mine and they reviewed that and the 40 Year old Virgin. Well, I figured to give it a chance and I really liked it. Worth my time and money.
