QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 10:39 PM) eh that team going to be a butcher in the field lol :banghead Haha yeah. Well I plan to do a few deals to get players where they are actually playing their primary position. I just have to see what I can get. The best part is how cheap most of the players are contract wise right now.

Did you download the demo or get a disc somewhere? I have been itching to play it. I really loved BF Vietnam.

I had Teddy and Glow Worm. My dad used to refer to him as Teddy Deadbeat when I was a little kid for some reason. Anyone remember the books with the maps inside them? Wizard of Weegie and all that stuff?

Just did a fantasy draft yesterday and set up my dynasty. Roster looks like this. C: Barajas(Might try to move him) 1B: Morneau 2B: Sean Burroughs 3B: Teixiera SS: Brian Roberts LF: Aubrey Huff CF: Randy Winn RF: Vlad Guerrero Bench: Jeremy Reed Keith Ginter Robb Quinlan Chris Gomez M. Ghafouri (Highly Rated Young Catcher) Rotation and Pen: Peavy Harden Vazquez Garland B. Meyers JC Romero Hermanson Ray King Rafael Soriano Eddie Guardado Guillermo Mota Joe Nathan This was all straight off the draft, no trades or anything yet. Any thoughts? Trade suggestions?

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 05:31 PM) The House that the Boss built. Incidently...the stadium should be about the same size as Yankee stadium, but with about 6000 less seats. What will make up the revenue from those lost seats? I'm sure you guessed it; luxury boxes. Well, Billy Crystal has to have a place to sit. Right?

A Myriad of MVP Questions
SoxFanForever replied to AddisonStSox's topic in A and J's Olde Tyme Sports Pub
QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Jun 14, 2005 -> 09:27 PM) Beautiful guys. Thanks a ton, and I mean a ton, for the help. If I have any questions regarding the downloading of rosters via the internet, I'll let you know. Did you guys ever use the internet downloads, and if you did, what kind of expierence did you have? Sounds pretty badass. What system are you using? I used the PS2 modem and downloaded the "official" rosters from there a month or so ago. I never bought a sharkport so I haven't ever got the rosters off the internet. Also, if you have it for PC I think you can download the rosters that are up to date as well. -
A Myriad of MVP Questions
SoxFanForever replied to AddisonStSox's topic in A and J's Olde Tyme Sports Pub
1) There are a few ways to update rosters. Depending on the system you have that is. With ps2 you can use your modem and connect to MVP online and download the rosters from them. Similar with XBOX. You can also use the sharkport and download the rosters from a number of websites where guys make full rosters(including minor leaguers) for you to download to your pc and then move to the sharkport. 2) Depends on what roster updates you get. Plugging them in yourself would take a ton of time. 3) I'm not sure if gooch is on the latest roster updates from online download. On a page in the big thread somewhere around page 33 I think you can find a CAP of gooch or just go to a website like gamefaqs.com or search google for CAP's. 4) Default rosters is just the rosters that come with the game that are from January. If you download a roster set or change them manually yourself and change them you can just load them before going into dynasty and just turn default rosters off and your more updated rosters will be there with the players on the correct teams. I hope that makes sense. If you have any other questions fire away and I will try to answer them if my reply didn't make it clear. -
This thread delivers.

QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Jun 13, 2005 -> 05:30 AM) Best story in baseball this year. Nick Johnson has been all-world and of course Patterson has been awesome. Anyone pitch with as much heart as Livan? Definitely moved into my top five favorite teams Yeah, I like all those guys and i'm a huge Wilkerson backer too. -
We just got back to the #1 spot on the ESPN.com power rankings for the first time in a month even though we have had the best record in baseball the whole time. There is no rhyme or reason as to their disgust for us andI don't think many here care what they think of us. They will all be douches when we do well late in the season and make the playoffs and say they knew it all along so who cares. They have no profound imput for sox fans.

God I wish I could go to London and see this concert. It will be really interesting to see how they play together.

6/12 Game Thread - Garcia vs Lawrence

God, atleast Timo won't be the first bat off the bench later. Maybe now Frank can actually get a chance to hit. -
QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Jun 12, 2005 -> 06:09 PM) I think it'd be interesting to see Jerry Manual manage again for any team. Just to see how he does with a different team. See if his managing ways work out. I'd be interested to see if Gandhi can stay awake for a whole game if he is managing again.

After the fight he said he has lost the will to fight. He declared his retirement and wants to do some missionary work in 3rd world countries or something. We will have to wait and see how this plays out. He really looked and sounded finished to me.

I just feel bad for Buehrle, he deserved the win today. I'm sure Hermanson feels bad and s*** happens every once in a while. We just have to go get 'em tomorrow.
