QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Mar 17, 2005 -> 06:56 PM) He was a great guy. I want to know what the hell happened to his arm in Oakland. Ask Art Howe. Having him pitch 93 innings + all the times he had him warm up and sit down and warm up and sit down probably took a toll on him. Howe used the guy, they pumped saves into him to boost his trade value and shipped out damaged goods. -
Franky on now.

Man, when do we get Loul back?
-
75-64 New Jersey right now. Griffin just fouled. Bullies making a mini run.

QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Mar 16, 2005 -> 05:00 PM) From "Dr. Strangelove" Gen. Turgidson: "...but he'll see the big board!" Gotta love Dr. Strangelove "There will be no fighting in the War Room!" Total Recall "Vilos Cohaagen: Richter, do you know why I'm such a happy person? Richter: No, sir. Vilos Cohaagen: It's because I have the greatest job in the solar system. As long as the Trebinium keeps flowing, I can do anything I want. ANYTHING. And I fear that if the rebels win, it all might end. AND YOU'RE f***ING MAKING IT HAPPEN!"

71 fouls, nice work letting them play the f***ing game.

Only part I disagree with. I think he will be starting out at Charlotte.

QUOTE(Yoda @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 09:34 PM) Don’t expect Vader to be on the screen for very long. He’ll probably be in it for about a minute or two. Probably less... I read somewhere that he will be in the film in the last 15-20 minutes.

QUOTE(qwerty @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 08:30 AM) Where you get those numbers from? Because according to imbd they are slightly wrong. http://www.boxofficeguru.com/intl.htm I went there and browsed through the archives section at the bottom.

QUOTE(qwerty @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 07:52 AM) Would let him be bat boy but actually participate in a game? No. Haha agreed. Also, Qwerty where did you get that Mario icon? That is awesome.

QUOTE(silver and black @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 04:54 AM) damn...there goes my plan to go back in time, and stop the Cubs from ever existing.

QUOTE(knightni @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 06:04 AM) McMahon always seems to play the bad guy, Bond is always the winner, not the bad guy. So, by default, I guess I would take Daniel Craig. Though, neither actor has enough star power to draw fans into the theater for a dying franchise like the Bond movies, IMO. Dying Franchise? Film Title International Profit Domestic Worldwide Goldeneye 244.8 106.5 351.3 Tomorrow Never Dies 218.0 125.2 343.2 The World is not Enough 225.1 126.9 352.0 Die Another Day 253.7 160.9 414.6 Seems like a pretty solid amount of people still enjoy and pay money to see movies from this "Dying franchise". As a point of reference here are the profits of a few more recent movies. The Incredibles 367.3 260.1 627.4 Meet the Fockers 201.3 275.9 477.2 Ocean's Twelve 234.1 125.4 359.5 The Aviator 83.5 97.0 180.5 Million Dollar Baby 26.0 76.6 102.6

QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 06:59 AM) .217 average, and 4 homers, and he's playing well. Makes me sad. 1-2 more hits and he would be batting 260 to around 300. Would you let him make the team then?

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 12:25 AM) Sounds like you're getting a damn good deal. I thought so too. I was trying to get the most I could out of Albert. Batting order as it stands after a few trades is now RF Ichiro C Kendall 3B Chavez 1B Teixeira LF Abreu CF Wilkerson 2B Polanco DH Morneau SS Izturis with a Bench of Greg Meyers, a decent 5 star prospect catcher and McPherson. I might need one more bench player like a Figgins.
-
Any thoughts on a possible trade I can do in MVP. Dealing Pujols for Ichiro, Bobby Abreu and Melvin Mora Any thoughts on this? Should I have tried to do better with Albert or just kept him?
-
The Sting, totally forgot about that. I love that movie. It is a classic.
