  1. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Feb 22, 2005 -> 01:37 AM) want some good ice cream go to cold stone... its close to AMC and Game Works in the same circle as the Jumba Juice or whatevr. You mean Lowes right? AMC is way down on Barrington. Coldstone and Ben & Jerrys are both really good.
  2. If that is his biggest weakness this is a great sign.
  3. KW: I caught a fish thiiiiissss big! Ozzie: ...
  4. Classic Oz. That english comment cracked me up.
  5. Just called the EB in Bloomington/Normal and they will have it tomorrow for sale. I can't wait to buy this game. Hell yeah.
  6. QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 11:03 PM) Your average NBA fan would never agree with me, but we'd be better off getting Trenton Hassell (both for what we specifically need right now on defense and for reasons relating to the long term salary situation of the Bulls). I still have my doubts about Paxson after he cut Trenton in favor of Linton Johnson. Linton Muhf***in' Johnson? In 2006/2007, we have a total of 6 million committed to our players: Chicago Bulls Salaries We should keep it that way through the end of this season so that we could lock down Curry, Chandler, etc. Soon enough, we'll have to lock down Hinrich. Just for laughs, check out what the New York Knicks have committed to players in 2006/2007: New York Knicks Salaries 70 million???? Isiah Thomas = NBA Expert :puke That roster is a joke. Especially the money they are paying out. Terrible.
  7. Nice article. I agree with starting El Duque as well for the opening of the Twinkies series.
  8. QUOTE(rangercal @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 09:39 PM) nbadraft.net has deron going # 10 and luther going # 40 It also has the Bulls drafting another High School guy which I really doubt Pax will be doing any time soon. That kinda loses credibility with me after seeing that.
  9. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 09:35 PM) I wouldn't take him in the first round. He's an early 2nd rounder at the highest IMHO. Agreed. I think he is a bit overrated.
  10. Ahh, awesome. Thanks for posting the pic Chimpy.
  11. QUOTE(chimpy2121 @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 06:29 AM) I saw an earlier pic where El Duque was 2nd in the Cy Young standings. Where was the pic at?
  12. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 03:25 AM) Hell ya I'm creating a stadium that's the coolest new mode they've added in a long time. NFL games like madden have always had create a stadium but MLB games never have. I'm just surprised it took so long for them to add that feature. Yeah, same here. I am really looking forward to Create A Stadium. I am sure I will invest many hours trying to create fun and different stadiums. It will be fun to see what other people come up with as well when they get their creative hands on it.
  13. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 03:44 AM) Nick Smith is the shortest 7' 2" player on the planet. He plays like he's 5 feet tall with mittens on his hands. Haha, that is a great description. Had me cracking up for a good five minutes.
  14. I just saw this a day or two ago on someones profile too. Thank god I am not that interested in seeing what is going on in their life
  15. Wow, this is pretty strange but not entirely unexpected.
  16. QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ Feb 20, 2005 -> 09:04 AM) Cream and the Clear, best fantasy team name ever! Haha, thanks Kip. I was trying to think of something clever and that was the first thing that came into my mind.
  17. Didn't Rolle just have some trouble with the law? I remember reading something about that recently. It was either him or one other guy.
  18. QUOTE(beck72 @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 02:01 AM) from Roger Brown in the Cle. Plain Dealer: "WTAM AM/1100 sportscaster David Kelly drew a firestorm from Indians fans Friday when, during a station talk show, he said sources told him some Indians players have used illegal, performance-enhancing drugs. But Kelly is sticking by his comments. "I won't name names," Kelly said. "But I've been told there are four or five [indians] whose play should be watched very closely this season." Interesting. Some big boppers? You'd have to think a guy like Hafner would be suspect #1. But a guy like Blake? Victor Martinez? [He did go from 1 HR in 120+ Ab's in 2003 to 28 in over 500 last yr] No doubt Coco Crisp is the big name on the team
  19. I'd love to see that. I can't even imagine some of the stuff they could come up with. Too bad the NBA probably won't make it happen any time soon.
  20. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Feb 21, 2005 -> 01:54 AM) Yeah, I'll be watching. Best dunk contest... 1) Josh Smith 2) LeBron 3) Jason Richardson 4) Francis 5) Kobe 6) TMac 7) Desmond Mason 8) Vince Carter Nice list, I completely agree with you
  21. Some names came to mind for me. Richard Jefferson, T-Mac, Desmond Mason, hell even Ben Gordon has some hops. By the way, anyone plan to watch the game? Its starting soon.
  22. With the weather down here right now I wouldn't want to play any home games. I'm looking forward to going to a few games this year before summer break. I wan't to see if we have a decent squad this year.
