  1. Rose with a few really nice plays in the 4th so far.
  2. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ May 9, 2011 -> 07:43 PM) I really liked Thor as well. Same here. I was pleasantly surprised with the job Branagh did. Hopefully Captain America can do that story the same justice.
  3. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 9, 2011 -> 07:21 PM) This is hilarious http://deadspin.com/#!5799938/the-lake...nson-is-reading I think the MagicBot was malfunctioning. May be low on RAM.
  4. QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ May 1, 2011 -> 10:03 PM) Any word yet on how it happened?? Early stuff I saw said something about him being killed by a missile strike over a week ago and they were waiting on DNA confirmation.
  5. According to Wolf Blitzer on CNN right now the US has the body of Osama Bin Laden. Link to follow when it is available.
  6. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 30, 2011 -> 09:06 AM) A lot of the critics are praising Fast Five, but I thought the first one still is definitely better. In many ways, I also preferred the fourth movie of the series as well. (Poor Lucas Black and Tokyo Drift, everyone forgets that movie even happened now). Tego Calderon and Don Omar (two reggaeton rap artists) don't add much. Heck, I don't even know where they came from. It felt a little too much like one of the Ocean's 11 movies, mixed with the Italian Job. And adding so many cast members and throwing them together, somehow the story felt a little too forced or not quite cohesive. The action sequences were quite good, but it still felt a bit "talky" to me. The Rock/Vin Diesel "love affair" thing was cute for awhile, but that was a bit too much. Even the villain (Joaquin de Alameida) was much better in the Harrison Ford/Jack Ryan "Clear and Present Danger" flick from almost two decades ago. or in Desperado as well. Good lord did the Rock look jacked in this movie. I saw it with a few work buddies and he just made Vin look tiny.
  7. Just because you support the team doesn't mean you are required to pay for an inferior product. That should go doubly so for an educated fan like Milkman.
  8. QUOTE (G&T @ Apr 24, 2011 -> 07:14 PM) Thankfully that wasn't a penalty. Admit it, it was an impressive throw down. He basically threw him down with one hand.
  9. Nice rush to draw the PP. Let's score one early.
  10. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 24, 2011 -> 06:40 PM) If the Hawks score in the first few minutes, it will be a blow out. Ugh, so much for that.
  11. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Apr 24, 2011 -> 04:43 PM) Seabrook is back tonight? I mean, we are 0-3 with him, and 2-0 without him. This just gives me another excuse for my friends as why I hate that guido douchebag. Lol. Yeah, he really sucked last year when we won the cup too. P.S. Breaking news right now on VS....Looks like they might go with Schneider instead of Luongo...
  12. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Apr 21, 2011 -> 07:50 PM) Now that last foul by Foster was a legit dirty play. How that wasn't a flagrant I have no idea. The refs are blind.
  13. B&B by a mile. Bernsie's rant about home schooled people and being burned by cigarettes nearly got me into an accident on the drive home today.
  14. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Apr 20, 2011 -> 05:33 PM) So I've been catching up on the classic gangster movies. Any recommendations for ones I should definitely see? Casino Goodfellas Donnie Brasco Godfather 1&2 Scarface Heat Carlito's Way The Untouchables Reservoir Dogs White Heat Once Upon a Time in America You should have a pretty solid DeNiro fix by the end.
  15. Even other Canadian fans think that the Nucks and their fans are terrible.
  16. Been waiting for this effort all series (or season).
  17. So I have the HTC Incredible right now but I'm looking to upgrade. My contract with VZW is up and I can get a phone upgrade (Thunderbolt) or bolt for Sprint and I could get an EVO. Think it would be best to wait for now until the next Sprint smartphone?
  18. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Apr 17, 2011 -> 09:55 PM) ...And? Wall has improved alot since high school and his b-ball I.Q. is off the charts. This dude averaged 16-5-8 as a rookie. I would think you'd give him a summer to see if he can improve his weaknesses before he's pegged another player with no drive. He also averaged that in 69 games due to injury. I'll take the wait and see approach with Wall and see how he handles a full season in the association.
  19. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 17, 2011 -> 12:03 PM) you can be 22, have fun, and not be a d-bag, it is possible. But whatever. The word is that Bickell is a healthy scratch tonight, to be replaced by John Scott. Friends of mine know Bickell and his girlfriend. Apparently he has tendon damage in his forearm. He will need surgery and it can only be put off a week at most based on what they were told. I'm guessing that he is probably done for the post season.
  20. Anyone think that all of the minutes/games logged last year between the Olympics and cup run have finally caught up to guys like Kane, Toews, Keith, Seabs and Hossa? Some of them looked gassed out there in the third last night.
  21. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 16, 2011 -> 02:34 PM) I'm going to f***ing kill someone. Carlos Boozer giving away lazy points. No doubt. He seriously needs to step up his D effort going forward.
  22. QUOTE (G&T @ Apr 16, 2011 -> 02:22 PM) Rose is costing their offense with awful shot selection. Can't win if you don't allow anyone to help you. Meanwhile, Indy over 50% from the field. Uh no, Boozer turning Hansbrough into a hall of famer is what is costing us right now.
