  1. QUOTE (lostfan @ Sep 13, 2009 -> 09:03 PM) It's not even just that, it's like on every down Wale is making Barbre his personal b****. It's worse than it looks. Yeah, it isn't just the sacks. It's the hits and just blowing him up every play. Rodgers has no chance to make a pass. I wouldn't doubt if we see Lang or someone else in there for the 2nd half.
  2. QUOTE (lostfan @ Sep 13, 2009 -> 09:00 PM) Is that the guy Ogunleye is abusing? Yep, Tauscher was the guy who was entrenched there for years. As they said earlier in the game, Ogun never had a sack in 10 games vs. GB and already has 2 tonight.
  3. From a Packers fan Mark Tauscher can't recover from surgery fast enough. Barbre is terrible.
  4. I love this video. Old but great. Love seeing Mirko playing cards and just busting out laughing.
  5. QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Sep 13, 2009 -> 01:43 PM) They just re-signed him, and he's making more than Brady this season. So... I knew they re-signed him. Didn't know it was that bad though. What a terrible decision.
  6. QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Sep 13, 2009 -> 12:50 PM) Jake Delhomme is such a terrible QB, I just can't figure out what Carolina was thinking in re-signing him. 8 turnovers in the past 5 quarters for him now. Well make that 9 turnovers now, what a joke of a QB. 2 picks and a fumble lost and they are only in the 2nd? That is rough. I wonder what they are going to do with him.
  7. QUOTE (WilliamTell @ Sep 13, 2009 -> 01:26 PM) lol the Chiefs are terrible, but somehow only down by 3 at half. When do they expect Cassel back? Next week?
  8. Cleveland is making some stupid calls on the goal line. Just run the ball in with your RB morons. Stop trying to be fancy with this Wildcat BS.
  9. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 11, 2009 -> 02:43 PM) I have been watching John Adams the last few days, great miniseries by the way. But while watching it, I repeatedly find myself wondering why they haven't made a miniseries or epic based on George Washington's life. Someone pointed out to me that there was a movie in the 1980's starring Barry Bostwick as Washington, but that doesn't exactly cut the mustard for me. With all of the epic movies and miniseries in the recent past, why haven't they done one about the man who most consider the greatest American ever? The 1980's Washington with Bostwick is actually very underrated and very good. I remember watching it as a kid with my dad. It is worth a viewing.
  10. QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 12, 2009 -> 04:11 PM) I don't care what type of person MJ was. All I know is he brought titles to Chicago. Agreed. I'm glad he took shots at Krause too. The guy was handed the keys to the golden chariot and found a way to crash it.
  11. I guess this is as good of a place as any to post this. I'm doing an independent film project from my garage next weekend and I am looking for budding star to play the leading role. The film is entitled The Girl-On-Girl Next Door. KHP, any interest?
  12. I still remember it vividly. It was my freshmen year of college. I had gotten up, showered and dressed. I was heading into the bathroom to brush my teeth before my morning class. The service guy who cleaned our floors came in and was making small talk and said something along the lines of, "have you seen the news?" I had no idea what he was talking about since I was just getting ready. I flipped on the TV and just like everyone else saw the second plane hit. I just had the most disgusting feeling in my stomach seeing that. It was just so shocking. The only real memory I have similar to that was when we invaded Iraq. They were showing it on the news all day during the Invasion of Baghdad. I just remember coming back from class and hearing my roommate blasting Bombs Over Baghdad on the stereo in our room. Funny how I can't remember what I did last weekend but I can recall things like that without a moment of hesitation.
  13. QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Sep 11, 2009 -> 04:37 PM) Bob Arum gave an interview to Ariel Helwani of MMA Fanhouse. Here are the highlights.... -MMA is a sport for skinheads by skinheads. -The guys roll around on the ground like homosexuals. -The blacks don't buy pay per view. (My favorite) Funny that a completely dirty scumbag boxing promoter has such an opinion on MMA. The guy is lucky to not be in jail. He can keep his opinions to himself.
  14. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 11, 2009 -> 05:34 PM) And that's a season for Soriano. .241 avg and 20 homers for the $136 million man. What a steal.
  15. QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Sep 11, 2009 -> 02:56 PM) looks like Lil' Nog/Cane will be on 105 as well I haven't seen Lil Nog fight since his KO loss to Soko. What has he been doing with himself?
  16. QUOTE (hammerhead johnson @ Sep 10, 2009 -> 05:58 PM) Well, what do you wanna hear, man? Do you wanna hear that sometimes I think about eatin' a bullet? HUH? Well, I do! I even got a special bullet for the occasion with a hollow point tip! Make sure it blows the back of my god damn head out and do the job right! Gotta love Lethal Weapon
  17. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 10, 2009 -> 08:20 PM) I hate to be the one asking this, anyone know of a place to watch the NFL online? http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/26393211/
  18. QUOTE (lostfan @ Sep 10, 2009 -> 08:07 PM) So watching this game I am reminded of how f***ing terrible the Steelers offensive line is. Roethlisberger somehow succeeds in spite of them. It is legitimately one of the worst in the NFL, and the fact that this team was still able to win the Super Bowl is pretty amazing. Despite the line he has to make some better decisions tonight if they want to win. That sack he too earlier trying to scramble around when he should have thrown it away and then that last pick. I know they aren't doing him any favors on the line though.
  19. QUOTE (jamesdiego @ Sep 10, 2009 -> 05:20 PM) I have my moments. But no half-naked pics while the boys are playing good and still have a small chance. I wouldn't want to scare the very innocent & pure Gavin tonight and distract him with boobie pics, while we can cut it to 5.5 tonight. But I tell you this, if(yes, if) we get eliminated I'm going to unleash an orgy of photography upon this site the likes of which you guys have never seen. Yes, feminist and religious groups will probably protest, and the name Jamesdiego will be despised(and loved) by many. Lets hope it doesn't come down to that, even though some of you may prefer it. I love this guy.
  20. QUOTE (hammerhead johnson @ Sep 10, 2009 -> 11:22 AM) You guys are both terrific posters. I'm amazed you went on as long as you did without blowing your brains out. Especially after the last few posts.
  21. QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 9, 2009 -> 09:17 PM) http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcsouth/post?id=2644 That article is fantastic. Wasn't he busted for juicing a while back too?
  22. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Sep 9, 2009 -> 08:48 PM) I could argue that the pressure will be even higher this year. I just don't get how people think a 4 win turn-around is going to happen. They won 4 games in 2005, 8 in 2006. That's a 4 game turn around. They won 8 games in 2006 and 13 games in 2007. That's a 5 game turnaround. Both examples within the last 4 years just using the Packers. It isn't unprecedented. Actually, parity is pretty damn common in the NFL recently. What is so hard to "get"?
