Why are guys like McNabb, Romo, etc. on these top QB lists yet guys like Carson Palmer and Aaron Rodgers.
Palmer has had some very nice years prior to his injury plagued 2008. Rodgers showed to be a very capable replacement for Favre last year and will be given more opportunity to handle the offense this year for Green Bay.
Romo has what I would consider one good year out of the three he has started. McNabb is good for around 20-25ish TD's between passing and rushing, has had issues staying healthy and usually ends the year with pretty pedestrian numbers when the year is over.
Cutler, I believe to be a good QB (also I'm not a Bear fan) but we will see if he can do it with the Bears offense. I still think it is a bit early to judge him.
I'd put Eli and Roethlisberger in the same boat. I think both of them get too much credit for their team's success. Both of them have top notch defenses and running games. Taking a look at their numbers and comparing it against the top tier guys really shows that they are a tier below.
