  1. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 18, 2008 -> 03:43 PM) I personally believe #7 should be retired, and the announcement should be at Wrigley on January 1st. Seabs is only playing half a season?
  2. I really enjoyed the movie. Can't wait for more.
  3. QUOTE (The Human Borch @ Jul 17, 2008 -> 05:37 PM) Joined the site around the time the first fantastic four movie came out, and i based it off "the human torch", but incorporated everyone's favorite bust, joe borchard. What happened to your avatar?!?!?!
  4. Mine is pretty self explanatory.
  5. QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 17, 2008 -> 01:35 PM) Spider-Man Opening Weekend according to imdb.com and boxofficemojo.com $114,844,116 (USA) (5 May 2002) (3,615 Screens) Didn't AquaMan starring Vinnie Chase break this record? Spider-Man 3 opened at a whopping $151,116,516. I don't think TDK will beat this, but who knows. I know there are already 7 sold out theatres at the AMC30 South Barrington by my house for the midnight show. I have a feeling this movie is going to do very well.
  6. QUOTE (jackie hayes @ Jul 16, 2008 -> 05:22 AM) Marcus Camby traded to the Clippers for jack s***. Traded for the right to switch draft picks? Seriously? We could have beaten that if we really wanted him. C'mon now.
  7. QUOTE (Flash Tizzle @ Jul 16, 2008 -> 03:02 AM) Did ESPN get to you too? Cmon now, I understand all he has been through and the great statistics he has put up thus far -- but a possibility of best ever? Only into his second season.....at age 27?! He'll have to begin by inflating that .910 OPS over 1.200 at some point. Better not leave Arlington. Also, he'll have to be producing at this level far into his 30's; since he missed a good portion of his 20's enjoying the lure of sweet, sweet drugs. If you were to compare his first two offensive seasons with those of other players he'd stack up well (still not among the greatest though -- Ted Williams and Lou Gehrig, for example, had better first two seasons), but it's tough to ignore his age. If you assume, like most players, that it takes several seasons to reach their potential -- then he should be reaching his prime around 30/31. Again, I'd question his longetivity at this point. Especially patrolling the OF. Maybe a hall of famer if everything goes right, but until he summons the ghost of Babe Ruth I'm not thinking of anything more of him. He hasn't even played a full season yet. Kinda hard to compare his first two seasons to the greats when he hasn't even had two full seasons yet.
  8. Kaz coming in I would assume or Soria?
  9. Haha, CQ wanted to at least take someone out if he wasn't gonna score.
  10. The CQ is gonna score the game winning run. Excellent.
  11. Nice strike em out, throw em out there. Let's get a walk off here and go home happy.
  12. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jul 15, 2008 -> 09:23 PM) It wasn't meant to be in question form. Hahaha, love it.
  13. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jul 15, 2008 -> 09:21 PM) K-Rod is a.) overrated b.) not good in non-save situations c.) a spaz. Where is my all of the above choice?
  14. Nice work by Sizemore and Evan. We gotta get some more runs here.
  15. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jul 15, 2008 -> 09:00 PM) Sooooooooo...Dioner Navarro sucks. Agreed. AJ would have been a better choice.
  16. Young still looks like he did when he was lost against the Sox.
  17. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jul 15, 2008 -> 08:50 PM) Get Quentin up and the AL will take the lead. This man speaks the truth.
