  1. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jul 15, 2008 -> 12:08 AM) Umm, the Packers had one of the worst rushing attacks in the NFL up until about week 12. You do realize that is because they were passing at some ridiculous rate of like 70% of the time during the first 8 weeks or so of the season right?
  2. QUOTE (lostfan @ Jul 15, 2008 -> 07:20 AM) It was planned to be a trilogy from jump. They're already working on the sequel, same team that did Mass Effect. Since you beat the game and know what happens I think you'll know what I'm talking about when I say there's a lot more to do storyline-wise. Ok, I was kinda hoping that this was the case. That's excellent news. Agreed, the story has a lot of potential to expand on after the first game.
  3. QUOTE (The Beast @ Jul 14, 2008 -> 08:25 PM) The Packers don't have the greatest offensive line either. The thing about Favre and unlike the rest of those shmucks on the Bears is that he makes things happen. Sure, he'll have this amount of picks, but he will help the Bears score more TDs and hell, I think the Bears could be headed to the NFC Title game if he plays for them. Sure it is still a pipe dream, but its not that unrealistic IMO. They allowed 19 sacks in 2007. Good for 3rd in the NFL. They also had a pretty potent running game during the season. I would say that is pretty good and the line had just a little to do with that.
  4. QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Jul 14, 2008 -> 07:08 PM) Leaf Touche. I just loved the SI cover saying Mandarich was the best OL prospect ever
  5. QUOTE (LosMediasBlancas @ Jul 14, 2008 -> 06:33 PM) He ended up in Hollywood after only how much time in the NFL? Remember all the hype when he came otta college? How about the roid monster the Packers signed? Tony Manadrich was it? Completely agree. Bos and Mandarich have to be two of the biggest busts in draft history. I remember all the hype including the SI cover with Mandarich. He never really lived up to it at all.
  6. QUOTE (lostfan @ Jul 14, 2008 -> 01:44 PM) Anybody here playing or played Mass Effect? if so what achievements are you working on? I played it and beat it. Was thinking of downloading the extra content (Bring Down the Sky I think?) Story starts off a little slow but gets pretty fun. Very entertaining game and very stunning in HD. I really enjoyed it and hope they have a sequel (or better yet a Knights of the Old Republic) slated.
  7. QUOTE (LosMediasBlancas @ Jul 14, 2008 -> 04:33 PM) Brian Bosworth? Say that to his face.
  8. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 14, 2008 -> 03:47 PM) I think Giordano's is over-rated. You and your West Coast pina colada pizzas!
  9. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jul 14, 2008 -> 10:20 AM) Barry Sanders. Definitely gonna have to disagree there.
  10. QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Jul 14, 2008 -> 06:27 AM) A few more current ones for me. Egderrin James, Frank Gore, Al Harris I'd put Tillman on that list before Harris. Tillman has been living off one game of defending Moss for his entire career.
  11. Terry Bradshaw is a very good pick. As far as current players I'd go with Jevon Kearse.
  12. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jul 13, 2008 -> 07:56 PM) Hawks preseason schedule came out. Here are the home games along with days, dates, and times: Tuesday 9/23/08 vs Blue Jackets 7:30 Friday 9/26/08 vs Wild 7:30 Sunday 9/28/08 vs Stars 6:00 Sunday 10/5/08 vs Avalanche 6:00 Any idea if these will be televised?
  13. QUOTE (LosMediasBlancas @ Jul 11, 2008 -> 03:33 PM) 'The Foot Fist Way'. Check it Definitely looks like it has some potential.
  14. Just got back from playing some PS3. How the hell did Floyd walk 7 in less than 3 IP? Did he get posessed by Dontrelle?
  15. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Jul 11, 2008 -> 03:44 PM) My old man is in Minong right now(close to Hayward) and got the game on the radio last night. Home of Jacks Links. Gotta love it!
  16. I don't see him going to Minnie for 2 reasons. One, the team won't just let him walk to a divisional rival and two, he has had a really rough time in domes throughout his career.
  17. I'm a Packers fan and even i'm tired of this dog and pony show. I am ready to move on and I think Rodgers is a more than capable replacement. It will be interesting to see what team he decides on and how well he plays there.
  18. Good to see Ryan is still in the top 20 after 25 years
  19. I bought a PS3 and Metal Gear Solid. I think I have sufficiently helped the economy as well as Sony after their huge loss on the system
  20. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jul 8, 2008 -> 05:10 PM) Beasley 9 points on 1-13 shooting and 5 turnovers. Time to call it a career. He's a bust. What a scrub.
  21. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 7, 2008 -> 02:16 PM) As expected, Vantage Point was complete s***. I thought the premise was cool. However, the execution left something to be desired. That's putting it lightly.
