QUOTE (kyyle23 @ May 2, 2008 -> 09:06 AM) A type treat? Yes sir.

Iron Man was excellent. I would recommend it to any super hero geeks. P.S. Be sure to stay after ALL of the credits. That means the animated ones as well as the regular ones. You get a nice little treat at the end.

Fields pulled from Charlotte's game

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Apr 30, 2008 -> 07:13 PM) That article says that was in fact the reason. Besides, to replace Ramirez with Fields is just about silly. It is silly to replace a guy who can't hit major league pitching very well with a guy who showed he can? -

And immediately Linebrink gives up the jack. Nice. -
That will happen anywhere when a team is winning/entertaining. Same s*** at the Hawks games I went to this year.

QUOTE (jackie hayes @ Apr 26, 2008 -> 06:13 PM) Sweed, Henne, Brohm, Charles -- lots of good choices here. So the Bears will of course take someone I've never heard of. Forte? Who? -

QUOTE (ChWRoCk2 @ Apr 26, 2008 -> 05:52 PM) No I didn't think whomever they drafted would make an immediate impact but this Neilsen guy is gonna be buried on the depth for next year, a pick such as Fred Davis makes more sense and he could possibly start over Donald Lee. Still have two more 2nd rounders so I'll have to wait and see, I'd expect a cb/te/rb/qb. I like Davis as well. However, I don't think he is good enough right now to start over Lee. If they did grab Davis though it would be nice to see some 2 TE sets with Lee and Davis that would really give defenses trouble. -

QUOTE (ChWRoCk2 @ Apr 26, 2008 -> 05:46 PM) f*** this draft, we have Driver, Jones and Jennings, are future is set, don't need a wide receiver. Stupid pick, shouldve took Sweed if anyone. Just bugs me that WR isnt a weakness and we take one. Did you really think they were going to grab someone who is going to make an immediate impact right away for next year? This is a 13 win team that has very few holes and went with the player that they felt was the best on their board at this point. Ted Thompson may seem a bit crazy. However, he has turned the team around in a short amount of time. I wouldn't get too upset about the pick. -

Visit Lucky Cheng's Cabaret.... Oh yeah, check out Dizzy's Coca Cola Club by Central Park. I saw an awesome Jazz show last time I was there. Nice atmosphere, decent food and great view. Just make sure to get a rez or get there early as it fills up fast.

QUOTE (santo=dorf @ Apr 20, 2008 -> 09:36 AM) Shea Hillenbrand is a clubhouse cancer. Find a better example. I think Gibbons should've moved Frank around in the lineup, but that wouldn't keep Frank from whining. That was one month after the incident with Hillenbrand. I have no love for Shea. It just seems that it is a bit of an ongoing situation up there. -
QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Apr 19, 2008 -> 05:36 PM) We should pin a thread for April on Bobby's velocity concerns so the radar police can do this every single year. OMG he isnt hitting, X mph velocity. We heard this last year, and the year before. He is an effective closer. 2 years ago it was can we deal with him throwing so hard with the pin in his arm. Now its he is effective but only throwing 94. Thank you. Took the words right out of my mouth.
