  1. Holy s***, Hawks are going off. 5-0 on the Barker snapper.
  2. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Feb 13, 2008 -> 04:05 PM) It's hard for most to speak on the subject, including myself, but I think Crawford is pretty close to the level Montoya is. I have never seen Montoya play, and Crawford only a handful, but based on what I can gather, they are similar. Hawks should have other targets in mind, at least IMO. I'd have to agree with Tony here. Stats only comparison of the two: Montoya: http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php3?pid=70291 Season Team Lge GP Min GA EN SO GAA W L T Svs Pct ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2002-03 U. of Michigan NCAA 43 2547 99 0 0 2.33 30 10 3 1014 0.911 2003-04 U. of Michigan NCAA 0 0 0 0 0 0.00 0 0 0 0 0.000 2004-05 U. of Michigan NCAA 40 2359 99 0 3 2.52 30 7 3 841 0.895 2005-06 Hartford Wolf Pack AHL 40 2094 91 1 2 2.61 23 9 1 889 0.907 2005-06 Charlotte Checkers ECHL 2 123 8 0 0 3.92 1 1 0 56 0.875 2006-07 Hartford Wolf Pack AHL 48 2556 98 5 6 2.30 27 17 0 1042 0.914 Crawford: ttp://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php3?pid=62349 Season Team Lge GP Min GA EN SO GAA W L T Svs Pct ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2001-02 Moncton Wildcats QMJHL 38 1863 116 0 1 3.74 9 20 3 1048 0.889 2002-03 Moncton Wildcats QMJHL 50 2855 130 0 2 2.73 24 17 6 1535 0.915 2003-04 Moncton Wildcats QMJHL 54 3019 132 4 2 2.62 35 15 3 1490 0.919 2004-05 Moncton Wildcats QMJHL 51 2942 121 0 6 2.47 28 16 6 1400 0.920 2005-06 Norfolk Admirals AHL 48 2734 134 3 1 2.94 22 23 1 1174 0.898 2005-06 Chicago Blackhawks NHL 2 86 5 0 0 3.47 0 0 1 36 0.878 2006-07 Norfolk Admirals AHL 60 3467 164 6 1 2.84 38 20 2 1645 0.909 Montoya turned 23 today and Crawford just turned 23 in December.
  3. QUOTE(knightni @ Feb 12, 2008 -> 09:11 PM) Kinda sad seeing Brodeur slumping. Kinda sad to see a Brodeur slump is pretty much better than Bulin has been all year.

    Blue Jeans

I get most of mine at Express recently. Before that it was American Eagle. However, I do like the look and feel of the nicer jeans. Definitely an improvement.
  5. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Feb 12, 2008 -> 07:22 PM) Pat Foley bought me lunch today. Sweet. Did you ask him when he is taking Dan Kelly's job?

QUOTE(Jimbo's Drinker @ Feb 9, 2008 -> 09:46 PM) Double Burger and cheese fries, topped off with a choc milkshake. and.....the fiancee made an apple pie. Your stomach says thank you and your heart says "Aghhhughghhh!"
  7. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Feb 11, 2008 -> 11:24 PM) Just beat Through the Fire and Flames on hard. Next up is me never beating it on expert. Just take a ton of speed before you do it. The day is yours!
  8. That's awesome. Hopefully CSN can actually get the sound working on their broadcasts this year.
  9. Bulin has been amazing tonight. I really hope they pull out a win for him.
  10. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Feb 7, 2008 -> 09:43 PM) Which is exactly what the Hawks need. I have never seen a big man play so soft as Buff did last night. They really need to light a fire under his ass, because Dustin could be a huge asset to this team. I think he got the message tonight. He has been throwing his weight around and parking in front of the net.
  11. I have a feeling Ruutu is going to put an elbow in Iginla's face before this game ends. Also, Buf throwing some hard ass checks in this game. Rocked Phaneuf and Regher within about 10 seconds of eachother.
  12. Hawks had a good first period against Edmonton. I came back half way through the 2nd and they are down 3-1. What the hell happened? Also, please get Wiz off the PP. He looks terrible there tonight. That is all.
  13. QUOTE(Athomeboy_2000 @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 10:35 PM) McCain talks... is he the most BORING political speaker ever? he sounds so flat and unexcited. He just reads from a prompter. Very classy of McCain to give credit to Huckabee and Romney for how well they are doing as well. He is probably going to just get more support doing that.
  14. QUOTE(Reddy @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 09:33 PM) wow... Huck already has won 3 states and is probably going to win three more (MO, TN, GA) that's scary. He just has no chance in northern states in a general election. His beliefs won't fly up here I believe.
  15. QUOTE(Athomeboy_2000 @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 09:28 PM) Early AZ results.. AZ (3% Reporting) Clinton 51% Obama 36% Similar results for McCain and Romney.
  16. They are calling Kansas for Obama.
  17. QUOTE(Jimbo's Drinker @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 08:09 PM) but losing almost all states. Mass, NY are big losses. Clinton will win California. He wasn't even expecting to win NY. What are you talking about big loss?
  18. That Evan guy smoked his old record on the eliminator by 6 seconds. Pretty crazy.
  19. QUOTE(Alpha Dog @ Feb 4, 2008 -> 03:54 PM) Damn, I'm the biggun of this group, so far. Started the year at 255lbs, and just starting with simple stuff. No fast food, no potato chips, etc, and no thirds. Also nothing past 9 pm. My workout options are crap as my knees are shot, I have a torn rotator cuff and no access to a pool. I have an ab machine I use, and I make an effort to walk more while working. Walking is good, running and stairs are bad. For some reason, bike also good, weather permitting. Down to 244 as of saturday. As far as cardio goes have you tried using an airdyne or eliptical machine? Those are fairly low impact on the knees and offer a decent cardio exercise. As far as weight training goes, there are plenty of low impact options that you can choose from. Even using lighter weight and more reps will do a good job. If you want more info let me know and I can post some links for you.
  20. At least Tom Terrific can always fall back on his other job....
  21. QUOTE(Brian @ Feb 3, 2008 -> 12:12 PM) I am far from a UFC die hard, but while it was nice move by Mir to get the leg hold, I would almost call it a fluke win. Brock did look good for the most part. Granted it was only 90 secs. Did the ref ask Mir if Lesnar hit him in the back of the head? WTF? If the ref didn't see it himself, don't stop it. It really isn't a fluke at all. Brock had some good standup and some good ground and pound going because he is such a strong guy. However, Mir is a world class heavyweight Brazilian Jiu Jitsu fighter. The stand up and trading punches is not his game. He wanted the fight on the ground. The ref stopped them and stood them up because Brock was already warned once for a hit to the back of the head and did it again. At this point in his career Brock is more of a brawler than a mixed martial artist. He has a lot of potential and could be good if he trains his subs and sub defense a lot more. However, he got caught in a pretty basic sub move and could have easily gotten out of it with a simple push of his free leg on Mir's back if he was better trained. The same thing in the Nog/Sylvia fight. Nog was getting knocked around and having a tough time with Tim's reach. However, what has made Nog's rep as a great fighter is his excellent ground game and submission. Both Mir and Nog were looking for the right moment to make a move for a submission and they both got it.
  22. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Feb 3, 2008 -> 06:32 AM) Hmmm; Boyle would do wonders for this team, especially the transition game.
  23. The two main event fights were very entertaining. Always fun to see a few fights end with a nice sub instead of a KO. Mir was in some trouble. However, Brock was just brawling and didn't show very good ground control. I think a lot of people predicted a word class BJJ fighter like Mir could exploit a relatively young MMA fighter.
  24. If you go to mmalinker they have the fight up already on google video haha.
