  1. Jon Jay is a 4th Outfielder option who can play a decent CF. Don’t get so negative even before Spring Training. Amazing how it seems every deal Hahn makes is hammered
  2. I can get better answers at the Barber Shop as follows Answers.....,,.........,,,,,,... $1.00 Answers that require thought ...,,$2.00 correct Answers ........... $4.00 Dumb looks still free
  3. Mike Trout could conceivably command a contract in the $50M a year category
  4. I would bring Avisail Garcia back in an incentive laden contract totaling around $8-$10M
  5. Something is going to happen soon maybe or maybe not and it might involve someone just who knows who
  6. I think you might be on the right track but I was leaning towards Big Game James coming back on an incentive laden contract
  7. The problem I had was I subscribed to the Sports package in DirecTV only to have everything blacked out by the Extra Innings channels
  8. I am never sure of just how the Mexican leagues, or the winter leagues for that matter, compare to the U.S. minor leagues. The stats and report on him look interesting for sure. At 21 years of age he might be ready in 2-3 years
  9. I think with the promise and talent you give Lucas all the time he needs to develop. It seems to often that we judge someone a failure after one season. Youth needs time to learn and develop
  10. Do this with every star player we have and we are in a perpetual rebuild going no where. You blend veterans with younger players
  11. I am not a fan of non-tendering Avi but hope we can get a new deal with him. I was also a bit surprised on the Davidson decision
  12. I think this was an excellent move by the Sox. Kudos to Rick Hahn. We knew the bullpen needed work and Hahn is getting it done
  13. This is my stance also. I do not like inflated long term contracts
  14. Agreed! The Sox must see potential and he originally was a top pick
  15. What’s age except a number? Speaking of numbers who on the Sox hit 37 homers with 97 RBIs last year?
  16. They fell on the sword but the blade was flexible rubber
  17. I have no problem with moves like this. I think they are good ways to try and get some potential talent without spending big bucks. The Sox seem to be trying to stock up on pitchers especially who have been taken by other teams as top picks or have shown promise. I know some shy away from players with injury history, but Tommy John surgery is not the career ending issue it may have been in the past
