  1. Let's vwait to get rid of Rollins. He may have a future in this game
  2. Bad luck for Jones and the Sox. Hope Nate is not hurt more than a bruise
  3. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 18, 2016 -> 02:02 AM) Yeah .127 BAA just horrible The criticism is now pitch to pitch
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ May 18, 2016 -> 01:57 AM) Especially with how dominant his stuff was I blame Obama
  5. QUOTE (Deadpool @ May 18, 2016 -> 01:26 AM) We knew it was going to happen. All that nonsense about Robin having earned his extension? THIS is when Ventura earns his extension. Apparently we now live and die play to play
  6. QUOTE (SoCalSox @ May 18, 2016 -> 01:21 AM) Austin Jackson has not been near the defensive player some made him out to be. That error was brutal. He should have made the plate but your analysis if Jackson is just way off
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ May 18, 2016 -> 01:08 AM) There we go Abreu! Awesome call by Stone You are so right. Stone Pony said, "here comes a changeup. Let's see if Jose can wait back for it." And he DID
  8. Things have turned around for Keuchel it appears. Of course it just has to be against us
  9. Let's hope the Sox can make a few lunar landings with homers tonight
  10. The Astros will be saying Houston We Have A Problem as they get rocked by the Sox
  11. Send the Astros to the Moon with some big Sox rocket blasts
  12. QUOTE (miracleon35th @ May 15, 2016 -> 11:50 PM) As Dan Plesac correctly pointed out, Gonzo was afraid to pitch in the strike zone because he knew that anything he threw in the strike zone would probably get torched. Gonzo walked his way off the roster, or at least I hope he did. RH and KW would be crazy to keep this guy on the roster and give him one more start. That was more painful to watch than looking at his sideburns. Then the bullpen - Zach Duke was awful and Matt Albers stunk it up again. Even Nate Jones gave up a bomb. Rome crumbling before our eyes again. The good news is that the Sox have time to find someone else for the 5th starter spot. Maybe go to a 4 man rotation for one turn. It will be interesting to see how Sox management responds Miguel's start. My bet is they say he is a work in progress and he gets another chance. Or they roll the dice on Lincecum
  13. I think we have an off day tomorrow? Bullpen doesn't look like it has recovered from those Texas losses yet. But, we are in first place by a comfortable margin so things are still good
  14. Main thing is we are still in this game
  15. Good baseball game. We just got beat by a great trio in the Yanks bullpen. Let's get em tomorrow
  16. QUOTE (God Loves The Infantry @ May 14, 2016 -> 07:02 PM) Is B>W a professional baseball player? Sorry, but Avi's earned his reputation as a hole on this team. After a little stretch that got everyone excited, he's faded right back to being a flailing, GB machine. Melky and Lawrie at least fought well against Betances; Avi just looked pitiful. I don't know what game you are watching or even games. Avi has been doing a good job this season and in this game our hitters are being overmatched by tough pitchers absolutely ridiculous to start hating on a player. Just now Yanks relief pitching struck out 5 Sox hitters in a row.
  17. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ May 14, 2016 -> 06:55 PM) Ha there's the Avi we know and love. Not even close I know it's so easy when watching on tv isn't it? This Betances guy struck out all four hitters he faced
  18. QUOTE (daa84 @ May 14, 2016 -> 06:38 PM) why is plesac announcing these games. He sounds like he's rooting for the yankees I think he has been really positive about the Sox and doing good
  19. Take a look at Lincecum's stats. ERA might have gone up but less hits than innings pitched and lots of strikeouts. But walks are up. Injury was hip related and not arm trouble. He might be worth the shot
