People here have short memories. Danks was turning the corner last year and didn't pitch too badly. He started slow this year as did abut 2/3'rds of our starting staff. He looked good last night. People want a lot of K's from him but forget that probably one of the best guys we ever had on our pitching staff, namely Mark Buerhle, was not a hard throwing K machine. Taking nothig away from Carlos Rodon and his superlative future but right now Danks is at least the #4 starter and maybe better if the Shark doesn't step up pretty soon.

Very pleasant surprise last night when I checked MLB Network and found they were broadcasting the Sox-A's game in our area. Plus got the Hawk and Rowand as announcers. Danks looked real good and I mean real good exept for that one mistake to Butler for a 2 run homer. Lots of good solid plays last night

I think this was a good move. I did feel Carlos was the more steady performer in spring training but Micah did a good job too. I think Micah will be with this team in a year or two and will stay as long as the defense improves. Gordon Becham has had a rebirth if you will and can fill in as the super utility.man and I think he enjoys that role andEmliio brings that excellent glove to the field everyday. Now if Gordon were to need to start everyday at 2B or 3B I think we would see a real solid performance, but right now that isn't needed as Carlos Sanchez gets his opportunity.

Chris Sale and Jeff the Shark were our two main pitching studs an hopefully bounce back quickly. They sure have struggled. We need better than our starters to give up five or more runs in five innings. Plus now I see some so called baseball experts predicting Jose Quintana as mid season trade bait. I think that must be a joke though. Let's strive mightily to win tonight.

I want to defend the Shark and that trade but he hasn't shown us he is anywhere near the top of the rotaton pitcher we were led to believe we were getting. Very troubling. Is he hurt?
