I like that 9 walks taken by Sox hitters. That shows patience and waiting for the good pitch to hit. I am sure some wildness by Indian pitchers comes in to play as well but we used to help hurlers by swinging early and at everything
May just be at the point in the year to discuss whether Sale is trade bait. If he doesn't get a no hitter every game I feel let down Not really. Casn't have it every game I guess
Go easy on each other please. Hernandez fill in at Charlotte and maybe by some miracle he regains some form of what was expected of him we might have a sub OF'er if needed. I think that most likely Tekotte gets called first though if the need arises.

Gotcha. Well hope the streak continues
For your sake I hope it does because the rules go on to say that if we lose the poster gets tarred and feathered and burned in effigy
QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Apr 11, 2014 -> 01:26 PM)
Sox should win this one. Carrasco is garbage, but we've seen how garbage pitchers look like against the Sox. I just want to beat Cleveland again.
I am hoping that with a few new players in the line up this has changed. We will see

What I would like to point out is that this definitely opens up plenty of playing time for Viciedo, so we will see once and for all what the Sox have in him.
This sucks a big one though.
Or De Aza. I might add though that we may see more of Jordan Danks and get an idea if he is a platoon player or can give it a shot as a starter in the OF. Garcia hit right handed so now Viciedo is the only Right handed hitting option on the OF roster. Danks and De Aza now battling for the LH at bats/playing time. If people think we are left handed hitting heavy we are now more so certainly

All in all, looking back, it was really an acceptable game for EJ, in that stadium against that team. Damn shame el tardo in LF let him down there.
A bit extreme

Which by definition would not be "consistent" as it includes the word "change".
I will stay on Balta's side on this issue for now. Too early to say our relief pitching talent is bad but a few more months of this and I may be agreeing with Marty.

(Just to stress again, part of "consistent success" is the word "consistent"...which at some level may well require a team to give guys a chance to work through early season struggles).
No argument with what you say. How long is the rope though? Maybe Nate Jones returning healthy will help
Should I take the place of Debbie Downer and say I would rather see some consistent success from the bullpen. Who might be in line to take over relief duties?
