Jose must have jusy mssied a homer if 2 advance on his fly to right?
-
Daubs with a walk and a 2 strike hit to right by Lee. That's the way to hit carlos.
-
D'Lo with another error. At least this one didn't hurt the Sox. If Loiaza is getting hit hard maybe we ought to be in the bullpen now Jerry?
-
Rowand just hits one out of the park to right. I think this guy must be on steroids.
-
Let's face it: Wright-Colon-Elo have not shown up for this searies. PLain and f***in simple. From what I heard Wright got out of a bunch of jams. He may not have had his best stuff but he definitely "showed up". Even the best [pitchers have a bad game from time to time. We just have to hope the offesne can show what they are made of like the last 2 games. They need to let Wood pitch more and not swing at everything. He can be had when the pitch count goes up.

I was ready to start saying good things about Jimenez, but he just committed another error. Only difference is it is as a 3rd baseman.
-
This Gruzooluck guy is been pretty consistent as far as hitting the Sox.
-
I see that Daubach struck out for the 2nd time today. He has not been hitting the least 2-3 games and lots of K's. This is the 1st time Loaiza has given up 3 runs in along time. He has been the one that has picked up the offense now it's their turn to help him out.
-
I agree. Heather what did you do to Carlos Lee? The guy is absolutely zoned in on that baseball now. He was just impressive to no end.
-
Seeing him play 3rd base yesterday brought up an idea that, if we bring in a better 2nd baseman either through trade or call up, Jimenez could be a super utility players like Graffy. Having two of them on the bench would be a great way to improve flexibility. However, you still might see Harris playing more 2nd base.
-
Let them find a way to win and play nine innings MONDAY. Sunday is a Sox winner. However, as much fun as it is to see CorkSosa gewtting his just desert from the Sox fans the guy is a talent and can break out with a bang. I just don't want it to be against the Sox. Esteban Loaiza is the man today.

I watched the game on WGN and that's and I was stirred by the Sox crowd chanting for PK. I tried to psychic a hit for the guy but it didn't happen and just looking at Konerko and seeing the disappointment in him made you want to cheer for him that much more. I like him and think he will get this turned around and next year AL pitchers look out.

I have no real opinion on what line up Manuel decides to play or what is suggested here. I like what was played on Saturday because I think it adds flexibility. I am especially happy for D'Angelo Jimenez because we have been hard on him, and maybe justifiably so, and he needed to produce to be considered an important part of the team. D'Lo playing 3rd base from time to time will help Crede who has been struggling. Getting players out of their comfort zones just might work for the teams benefit.

I am going with Carlos Lee on Sunday. The way this guy is locked in we could see a 6-6 game from him and all homers.
-
I watched WGN on Saturday and we won. We won again...what could be better?
-
I was hoping we would see Harris at 2nd for a change. It was interesting to see the infield in the 9th inning. Jimenez at 3rd base and handling it well, Graffy at 1B and doing good, Jose and Willie. If Crede continues to struggle or needs a day off it wouldn't be bad to see Jimenez at 3B once in awhile. Aaron Rowand looked good at the plate. The way he is holding the bat and swinging it makes you believe he can start producing again.
-
Still throwing an inordinate amount of breaking balls, but yes, he looked good today. Got out 3 pretty good hitters in Sosa, Alou, and Karros. 3 infield grounders to three good hitters and he battled even with full counts. He showed something today.
-
He came through and helped to produce a Sox winner and that's all you can ask. I also agree that Aaron stood up and made people take notice. As far PK, it breaks your heart to see the guy struggling so badly abd know what he can do with the bat when he is on his game.
-
Konerko didn't look good that's for sure, but he is making contact. The fans were rooting for him and you just have to feel for the guy and what he is going through. You know he wants to contribute with the bat. His confidence has to be shot right now. He needs to get a hit or two and rive in a run and build on it from there. I hope he turns it around soon for his sake and the Sox.
-
I think he has a dead arm just as was mentioned in another post and also by Hawk and DJ today on WGN-TV. It happens apparently although I have to admit I am not to familiar with the syndrome. He didn't look good out there nad he knew it. I think he is a battler becasue he kept pitching and when he missed you could tell he didn't like it. He wants to win just all the others on the team. I just hope he gets some life back in that arm. We need him.

Frank Thomas on Saturday -
I will be watching from long distance via WGN on Saturday afternoon. It will be great to see a packed Comiskey (cell) and see the Sox play after such a big win. Clon will be pitching and Hawk and DJ announcing. What could be better except for another Sox win. All of us out of towners need to be practicing the karma chant Saturday. See you all on TV.
-
They don't all feel that way on ESPN BBTN. Reynolds, Dibble and Gammons think Loaiza should start. These guys you are concerned about are idiots.
-
BBTN showed it at least three times. Great thrill for Jose. He is the man!

I'll be watching WGN on Saturday with Hawkeroo and DJ broadcasting. I have a feeling that the intensity will be there and it will be a great game. Colon will be pitching.
