Wright has hung in there, but if White is in the pen I am glad. He has come around lately. I wondered about Glover and now Graffanino. We haven't seen him in a number of games.

iT'S JUST ANOTHER TYPICAL DAY AT THE BALL PARK FOR SOX HITTERS. YOU THINK THEY ARE COMING OUT OF IT AND THEY PUT ON A LITTLE LEAGURE HITTING DISPLAY LIKE TODAY. THIS IS PATHETIC THROUGH 5.
-
THAT HAS GOT TO BE ONE OF DANNY'S FINEST MOMENTS THIS E=SEASON. I THOUGHT HE HAD BLOWN IT WALKING PATTERSON TO FILL THE BASES TO GET TO SOSA. THAT HAS GOT TO LIFT THESE GUYS. SCORE SOME RUNS!
-
Our hitters are not looking good. Daubach strikes out for the 2nd time and everyone else is just lofting them in the air to the OF.
-
I.m only on game day MLB so I an=m not sure. Looks like he has been good and then starts to nibble or lose concentration, but got out of the 4th with 2 on and no one scored.
-
It's a good thing that Karros runs like Konerko. BARELY! Or we would have been down by 2. At least Wright came back to get the weak hitter out.
-
Exactly. Bear down Wright!
-
Wright was having a good inning against Sosa and Alou. Always amazes me how these guys can lose their concentration from batter to batter. 4 straight balls to Karros
-
They still should have benched his lazy ass and played Willie at 2nd, Rowand in center. Dumbass cost us at least 2 games in a row. :fyou No argument here. I would like to see Harris at 2nd just to see what might develop. Meanwhile back at the ranch: three easy fly outs and Cubs up
-
A hustling Jimenez? Maybe something good is happening here? Wright seems to be hitting the corners most of the time so his ball must be moving good. Wish he could get that one pitch in the 1st back. Let's score some runs Sox!

And Crede can't deliver again
-
Valentin gets a hit a nd lee to THIRD and not 2nd.
-
Leee goes to RIGHT for a hit. That's encouraging.
-
Game Day shows Daubach taking three strikes. It might be appropriate to try and swing the bat.
-
I see that Wright can't get out of the first inning AGAIN without giving up a run.

Mr. BrandoFan I must ask you to let us all know that you didn't mean this and were just putting out a joke or something and it didn't come out right. In baseball you only concern your self with performance and that's it. One can be down about Paul Konerko, D'Angelo Jimenez, Carlos Lee, Frank Thomas or Billy Kock, or any of the players, but still want them to perform well at the same time. I bet the players are harder on themselves in most cases then we are and at the same time supportive of each other as a team. To paraphrase a great baseball man, Tom Hanks, "there is no color in baseball."

Friday, June 27, 2003 White Sox get out the broom in Ogden By Special to the Tribune -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OGDEN, Utah -- The Great Falls White Sox swept their Pioneer League series from the Ogden by outlasting the Raptors 7-4 Thursday night at Lindquist Field. It was a sweet way to open the new rivalry against Ogden, which became the Los Angeles Dodgers' farm club last September after the Dodgers dumped Great Falls -- which had supported the Dodgers for 19 years. Manager Chris Cron's White Sox improved to 6-3 in the Northern Division by winning four straight games from the Raptors. Ogden fell to 3-6. Great Falls gained a share of first place in the division, with Helena. The Brewers fell 8-6 to the Casper Rockies. The White Sox head south to Provo today to meet the Angels tonight. The teams also will play a double-header on Saturday, then Great Falls has two days off before opening a seven-game homestand on July 1. Jeremy Hudson, who pitched in an independent league last summer, started and hurled five effective innings to gain his first victory with the White Sox. The relief pitching wasn't quite as solid, and Cron had to bring in closer Ferny Hernandez to get the last three outs in the ninth. Hernandez got himself in some trouble, but a key double play and a strikeout ended the game as he picked up his second save. The White Sox staff issued four walks, had two hit batsmen and threw two wild picthes. The Raptors were unable to capitalize on many of the mistakes, strnading 12 baserunners on the night. Ogden grabbed a 1-0 lead in the first, but the White Sox tied the score in the second inning on Brandon Bounds' solo homer, then went ahead 2-1 on David Cook's infield single. Great Falls added two runs in the fourth as Micah Schnurstein, Matt Deuchler and Mike Myers had hits. The White Sox knocked starter David Cuen out of the game in the sixth inning, loading the bases. Myers drew a walk off reliever David Parker to make it 5-2, and another run scored on an infield out. A double by Ricardo Nanita and an infield grounder produced an insurance run in the ninth. Xavier Paul and Julio Gonzalez each had four base hits for the Raptors. First pitch: 7 p.m. tonight at BYU's Miller Park in Salt Lake City

I am not able to watch many games so I don't know if he is seeing the ball well, hitting it on the nose, etc, but I would have to say that the fact he is making contact and not striking out is a good thing. He needs some breaks bad.
-
However, there are a lot of others folks concerned. Also Billy, it wasn't just one game you blew.

Friday June 27th vs Cubs PTC
elrockinMT replied to southsider2k5's topic in A and J's Olde Tyme Sports Pub
D'Angelo Jimenez just to show I am a forgiving fellow and think he can produce for the Sox. -
Nothing more to add I just want to share and bask in the light of winning. I think taking 2 of 3 in scrubland and 2 of 3 in twinkieville is just great. Yes we could have easily gone 6-0, but 4-2 is still good. We are still in this thing.

I LIKED JOSH PAUL ALSO. bACK UP OR NOT HE IS STILL A GOOD CATCHER AND WISH HE COULD HAVE STAYED HERE AS THE BACK UP TO OLIVO.
-
MARK BUERHLE RULES! SOX WINNER, SOX WINNER. NOW IT'S BACK TO COMISKEY AND BEAT THE CUBS.
-
a run for the Twins in the bottom of the 9th. STOP THIS MADNESS NOW!

What the heck is wrong with Konerko? A ground out to the pitcher. For crying out loud. Crede hits the ball in the air, but we have him and PK reversed in the order.
