  1. While there seemed to be a lot of ambiguity in regard to Brandon's situations, it also seemed rather unexamined
  2. The crux of most anti-vax opinion is that it causes autism - because there was an observed increase in vaccinations and autism diagnoses...which was irrelevant. There was a landmark study that showed more than mere correlation, but it was found to have used falsified data and troves of research has tried to replicate it and found no such causal association. I suppose the movement may have developed some other claims since then, but I'm not aware of them. Over-vaccinating...sheesh, that doesn't even make sense. Over-medicating? Sure. Vaccinations...nope, I can't even fathom the logic
  3. If there is physical evidence of how you hit your kid about 10 minutes afterwards, that would be an indication that you went too far. As far as Cutler goes, the lack of vaccination is bad. There is a degree to which it is accepted because that is basically an upper-class white way to harm children. The main difference to me, though, is that Jay is leaving his kids open to potential harm. It is reckless. What Peterson did is actively harm his kids. What Jay Cutler is doing is more like choosing a babysitter by random draw and knowing that there is a 1 in 1000 chance that the babysitter is Adrian Peterson
  4. In WAR, everything is "weighted" according to how many runs it is worth. Instead of deciding what parts of the game are most important, it is as close to objective as possible - your baserunning mistake/inability is worth x runs, so that's how many runs less value you have
  5. I can't believe we haven't seen one rant about the wussification of America yet
  6. Wins are always good. Every loss is a time a fan says "this team wasn't worth my time" not to mention the fact that it also probably means we aren't getting the best from our young guys
  7. Greg, you might be happy to know that Stephen Colbert is actually super Catholic and reportedly a rather moderate person in private and unequivocally a family man.
  8. The Bears D frustrated their run game quite a bit at times, but I'm inclined to think SF should have gone back to the ground a bit more...especially when they seemed to have total control of the game
  9. Cutler didn't give the ball away. That, along with a strong showing from the D, made it okay that we had a putrid offense early.
  10. SF kept giving us penalties and it felt like we weren't doing anything ourselves...and then the O really hit its stride after a penalty in the first drive of the second half and we were unstoppable from there onward. Great showing by the D as well. They did exactly what we needed and this time the O held up its end of the bargain, albeit a little late in the game
  11. I'm sure Tim Jennings is about to talk mad s*** about Crabtree right?
  12. Kaep is indeed exceptionally slippery. We'd have 10 sacks against Alex Smith tonight
  13. lol I love watching the OL try to act natural after realizing he jumped
  14. Marching along now, for the first time today. No better time than now.
