  1. I don't mind passing it there. Just have to not have the most unlucky thing possible happen.
  2. Mullin saying on twitter that once Vikes touched it we could no longer make it live. In that case, it's a great play
  3. Someone needs to explain why Eric Weems did that

    QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Sep 14, 2013 -> 11:36 PM) Head to the bathroom. This is more relevant to some kinds of sex than others...

  8. QUOTE (farmteam @ Sep 14, 2013 -> 10:59 AM) My phone decided to die today, and I was going to get a new one soon anyway. Any suggestions for a new droid? HTC One If you have some specific preferences as far as features/strengths/carrier we might be able to point you towards a particular phone.
  9. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Sep 13, 2013 -> 11:35 AM) It's okay, Weber gets his guys as well.... Don't hate, that's Kirk Hinrich guarding him
  10. Only on Soxtalk do the Bulls get criticized for not picking up guys that totally f***ing suck and lack any evidence to suggest they could be anything different Then we pick up a reclamation project like Nate Robinson and he gives us a huge level of excitement...and nobody gives a s***
  11. So...RG3 or Vick this week? I have both... after the first half last week, I thought Vick for sure. After the second half, I thought RG3 for sure. After watching Jaworski break RG3 down, now I'm wondering if I should go with Vick again.

    QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 13, 2013 -> 01:14 AM) I just wish our government officials would blast Putin more. Today was a start in response to his moronic editorial. Kudos to those with the balls to blast this jerk, Putin. Blasting Russian leaders has never been very effective when it comes to US-Russian relations

    QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 12, 2013 -> 11:23 PM) I took it more of an elitist criticism of people who are not in the government. I don't like Putin. He pretty much comes across as, "I hate the United States. I hate its people. I've been trying to bring the Cold War back 100 percent, maybe someday you Americans will notice someday." We owe those Russians nothing. Like I said, Putin pretty much sucks. He definitely mourns the collapse of the USSR and would probably love to see calamity befall the USA. His human rights record is putrid. I don't think that the sentiment that "American exceptionalism is dangerous" is wrong, though
  14. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 12, 2013 -> 11:37 PM) Just win a title before the sanctions come in, I won't care. I really wouldn't like it if we got caught cheating, tbh. I have lived in Memphis for a while and they love their basketball, and they have no fond memories about the Calipari era. It was fun when it happened, but they definitely see it as tainted. I don't want Illinois getting a bunch of negative attention. I think we can do it the right way (or, at least, not outside the norm of cheating?)
  15. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Sep 12, 2013 -> 09:59 PM) Please get healthy Gronk.

    QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 12, 2013 -> 04:55 PM) Putin is a horse's ass. Did you see his statement today about how it is unwise to praise one's own people or something like that? To acknowledge specialness in one's own people? He's a turd. He is quite a turd, but there is a grain of truth in the op-ed (which he probably didn't write). Americans patting themselves on the back and saying they're the best people/country in the world is the type of belief that leads us into these conflicts. It also has other effects, but those aren't so relevant here. You won't find a country with a bigger inferiority complex than the USA (even though I wonder if England/UK would give us a run for their money)

    I've used this for some of my research and I thought some folks might find it a very interesting way to waste time http://archive.org/details/911 This has the feeds of many different TV channels (mainly news stations) from the US and a couple abroad starting in the hours before the attack and going on for the next several days. Crazy to see the reactions when the second plane hits
  20. Dunn has really been scuffling lately Leury > all
  21. I have: WR: Jordy Nelson WR: DeSean Jackson WR: Vincent Brown TE: Tony Gonzalez Flex: Alshon Jeffery Bench: Sidney Rice Denarius Moore Gronk Nate Burleson Shonn Greene What to do about WR3/Flex spots? Once Gronk returns, he'll have that Flex spot on lock presumably. Not sure who will take over that WR3 in the long run and can't decide who to start. The posted configuration is how I went last week. Brown did okay due to a TD catch, but only had the one catch. Moore had a good game, I had sat him because I had no idea how the Oakland offense was going to go. Rice didn't do much and I don't really expect him to. Burleson might be a guy that picks up some big numbers in the Detroit passing attack, but I don't know about this week @Arizona Also not sure about Alshon. Took him as a gamble just to give me another thing to root for in Bears games, but he remains an enigma to me. Seems like he ought to be one of the top 4 WR for now, but I don't really know
