well i will say this........if we lose pauly we better some how pull something out of our hat because he was the only threat that put real fear in pitchers eyes. 40 hr 100 is hard to replace and especially with carl's 20hr and 80 rbi's we will need power. Griffey?

I haven't read everyones replies but what i have to say to this is WE ARE USED TO BEING THE UNDERDOGS AND ALWAYS NEVER PICKED TO FINISH FIRST. so this isn't any news to me. i am actually surprised they didn 't put us lower saying something like "well most of the pitching staff had carear years and will never perform at that level" or "they were lucky other team didn't play up to potential"

thanks for the info.. yeah comcast should put them on for pre and post shows because they deserve to have some part in this whole run. you can't just be with the team for 162 games plus spring training and then make it to the post season then be shut out from participating.

hawk and dj? i wonder if they are attending the games. i haven't seen or heard from them since the season ended. you would think that they would be doing at least some interviews on their take on the playoff games or something. they are both M.I.A.

wish i was going to be in cali....... i thought about it since i am off this whole weekend but the old lady said i spent enough money going to 3 of the 4 playoff games allready she was not down with us flying out to cali for the weekend and spending a s*** load of money on hotel air fare and of course the tickets to the games. BRING HOME A WINNER!!!!!!

Well i must say all this talk on the news about celebs not being in the cell and all, and especially about cub fan john cusack not being given any tickets is a bunch of crap. I personally seen him and 3 other guys 1 guy being the bald guy from the shield chickelets or something like that. I had my uncle with me for the game and he is handicapped so we took the elevator in the main office to the lower level and they were on the elevator with us along with a rep. from the cell with them. Cusack had a sox cap on and the shield guy had a black leather jacket with a sox jeresy underneath.

i am not for that at all. dye has 1 game experience at first and frankly without paulie we would be short another power guy that can put some fear into an opposing pitcher. even though paulie is the slowest guy in the american league, we still need him not only as a player but as a leader also.

i tried to get tickets and the wait time was crazy, then the server frooze and i was out of luck. when i finally got through it said it was all sold out. so what i did was call ticketmaster at approx. 1:45 and i talked to a ticketmaster rep. and he searched for tickets for game 1 for me and i explained what happened. somehow he ended up getting me 4 tickets in sec 153 row 18 for game 1. i almost sh*t in my pants when he told me that he was able to get them. he also apologized for the tech. problems that occured. SO i now have 4 great seats for game 1!!!! i can;t wait, lets win friday!

i tried to get club level for 2 tickets for game 6 about 10 min ago and i am still saying wait time 12 min.

loitering is not allowed around the airport of course........but when you are the chicago police....you can get some perks! : ) i don;t think there should be a problem. since we are not exactly by the terminals or anything. its the other side of the airport.

YES, please post any info on when and where they might land at midway. i plan on cheering them on because at that time they will be central division champs!! and of course because i live about 5 mins from the airport.

waking up this morning at about 10 with a bad hangover was all worth it because of last night. it felt like i lost 50 lbs when we won.

i just turned to the 2 indians fans that were sitting next to me and said "thats what were all about here!! and u can take that back to your hotel room!" they just looked at me as if they wanted to fight but then everyone in the section started chanting cleveland sucks and they just walked out of the row and left----never to be seen again. IT WAS AWSOME!

please get off your BUTTS and stand up at every possible walk for the sox or every possible runner in scoring position at bat for the sox. PLEASE stand up for every possible strike out that buehrle might get or for every out that will mean the end of the inning or to stop a rally. WE NEED TO GET UP OFF OUR FEET AND STAND AND CHEER GET INTO THE GAME!!!!!! Were is the getupguy when we need him, i think its time to bring a little sept of 2000 back into life!!!

i see the sox winning the first 2 games and the 3rd up for grabs. 2 out of 3 would be perfect it would knock the magic number to 7.
