  1. I think they'll lose either the Bengals or Seahawks games. If they are already play off bound, they'd be wise to bench/protect Manning late on in the season - undefeated record or not. Seattle could benefit from it.

  3. That was a great fight between Vandermeer and Downey. (If you like that sort of thing) Downey ended up with a broken nose, Vandermeer finished with a smile on his face. The game was a great advert for AHL hockey
  4. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 10:22 PM) Tosser, as in to 'toss', as in to take matter into your own hands. Yep. A tosser is the same as a wanker.
  5. QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 08:27 PM) wanker is ahole Close. Wanker = Male who masturbates a lot Wanking = Jerking off Wank = The end product of wanking These words can all be used in different ways - Disappointment, anger, etc.. This site explains these words better than I can... http://www.urbandictionary.com/
  6. I'm hoping the Warriors finally get back to some kind of respectability. Despite a lot of high expectations around Warriors boards, I think finishing .500 would be a big step forward for this team. I see that the good news has started already - J-Rich is a game time decision with a bad knee. Apparently, there were times last week when he could, Quote "barely walk".. If he doesn't make it, I hope Pietrus will get the call, but knowing Montgomery and his habit of doing the opposite of what the fans want, this will mean more Derek Fisher. :headshake

  11. I took those guys a round or two early because I got stiffed in a roto league draft, a few days before our draft, when I waited too long. The players I had targeted, were Swift and Pryzbilla, but DBAHO took Pryzbilla 3 picks before mine. I also narrowly missed Donyell Marshall, and I missed Raja Bell by one pick too - That pissed me off.
  12. QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Oct 10, 2005 -> 08:04 PM) Who is Adonal Foyle = MVP? I was genuinely pissed off twice I'd say...when Swift and Krstic went way ahead of where Yahoo had them ranked. I figured I'd get one of them, if not both. As it is now, I'm lacking the beef necessary to wreck shop in blocks and FG%. That'll be me. Sorry about that.

  14. David Soul is a Sox fan, and from what I just read, he turned down an offer to play for the Sox too.!?! Was he Starsky or Hutch??
  15. It's 2.40am, and I'm running around the house and jumping up and down like an idiot.. Unbelievable. GOOCH!!!!!!!!!! Now I'm going to go watch it all again (without being worry!)
  16. Kong's RBI totals before this year. 1999 - 81 2000 - 97 2001 - 99 2002 - 104 2003 - 65 2004 - 117 I hope he gets that 100th today.

  18. QUOTE(DonkeyKongerko @ Sep 24, 2005 -> 09:35 PM) I doubt if more than 2 of you are watching, but this tournament may overshadow the Ryder Cup some day. An Internationals vs Europe match up, would be a good idea. The European team might actually get tested in that.

  20. QUOTE(knightni @ Sep 20, 2005 -> 07:06 AM) You know, for an Englishman, Credepopsup knows a hell of a lot about NFL football. 20 years experience. (and lots of good fortune) The 85 Bears = my 1st love
  21. QUOTE(Pauly8509CWS @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 09:25 PM) I'd cut those numbers in half and youre getting a little closer. I bet about 5 thousand or so on saturday and I'd assume the same for sunday. A few people on Blackhawk forums have said that too. I just posted what the attendance was listed as in the boxscore.
  22. QUOTE(The Critic @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 03:07 PM) Just curious - what would you guess for the attendance? I saw some highlights from Saturday's game and the place looked fuller than I'd have expected. Looks like maybe the diehards won't hold a grudge? The official figures are - Saturday - 9,733 Sunday - 7,135
