QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Mar 30, 2005 -> 07:16 PM) I saw the last 15 minutes of it last week and thought it was pretty friggin' funny. I plan to watch it tonight now. I am VERY curious though as to how the UK original is, since supposedly the guy who stars in that one is beyond great and unlike anybody that has ever been on TV before. I guess that guy IS the show. I know you can get the DVD's, so they will be going into my Netflix queue as soon as it dwindles down a bit. Make sure you buy those DVD's - Ricky Gervais is outstanding in the role of David Brent. I'd love to see the US version, to see how they've tweaked the show to suit a different audience. Hopefully they did a better job with The Office, than they did with "Coupling" , although I personally hated Coupling - a "Friends" wannabe, if ever I've seen one.

I've got nothing better to do, so I thought I'd put a few of the players names in... "It's the Bright One, it's the Right One, that's Rowand." "Mama's got the Magic of Buehrle." "I am Stuck on Crazy Carl, 'Cause Crazy Carl's Stuck on Me." "Good Honest Konerko Since 1896." "Where Podsednik is a Pleasure." "Be Young, Have Fun, Drink White Sox."

QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Mar 30, 2005 -> 03:32 PM) Are you on Crack? Morneau, is going to be a f***ing stud. Many have him hitting .300/30/100 This coming year.. and if that is bad.. Please explain what you consider good? He was talking about the Twins fielding - not hitting. I don't think anyone is questioning Morneau's hitting ability. -
ESPN 1000 update - It's a broken bone.

What a s***ty way to start the week. Drink, anybody?

Buehrle. With A-Row and Frank in Silver and Bronze positions. It's a tough choice, as there aren't many players on the current roster, that I'd like to see leave.

This is a very good signing. Tait - Brown - Kreutz - Garza - Miller That's a more than decent offensive line. Goodbye Rex Tucker. -
Good, play by play fellas. Thanks.

QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Mar 10, 2005 -> 03:36 PM) credepopsup, you should trademark your name. We'll be saying it a lot this year. lol. Hopefully we won't be saying it that much. I'm hoping Joe hits so well, that I'll have to change my name to Credesingles, Crededoubles or Credehomers.

QUOTE(YASNY @ Mar 10, 2005 -> 10:27 AM) Crede pops up is three words. Your handle is one word. You have no claim whatsoever ... or ... what so ever. Hmm.. a small technicality. This may change things a little..
-
It's certainly make or break time for Joe - I'm rooting for him. Oh, and YASNY - A great choice of thread name, although I feel it's only fair to warn you that you'll soon be hearing from my lawyer, due to the fact that you have used "Crede pops up" without my permission - I've held copyright on that for quite a while now. Pat Riley has "three-peat", I have "Crede pops up" In fact, everytime Hawk or DJ used that phrase last season, I got 25 cents from the broadcasters. Unfortunately (for Crede and the Sox) at the end of the season they had to write me a check for 2.6 million dollars..

Did he really call Rowand, a semi-regular, fourth out-fielder?? This guy is a f***wit. :fyou Steve Phillips

Not exactly an important signing, but one of my favorite former Bears, Jim Miller has signed a one year deal to replace Warner as the Giants back-up QB. Jim Miller
