  1. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Apr 8, 2005 -> 05:50 PM) Lineups are announced on ESPN 1000 prior to the game. Also, the MLB.com GameCast has it listed early. By the way, no Justin Morneau is nice. Thanks. Is Morneau expected to play this series?

It would've come in handy for my fantasy teams if I had read this earlier.
  3. I've got Cliff Lee on my fantasy team and don't know if I should play him, you guys think the Sox offense will show up today?
  4. QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 12:15 PM) What's going on? 2 on 2 out make that 3 on 2 out make that 3 out

  6. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Apr 4, 2005 -> 04:35 PM) Full list -- http://espn.go.com/minorlbb/news/2005/0404/2029818.html 1 Sox minor leaguer on there. José Espinal -- listed as a Baron, but according to bull, he wasn't on the roster. He's on the Sox site, pitcher for Winston-Salem Warthogs (A).

  10. QUOTE(BridgeportHeather @ Apr 3, 2005 -> 11:01 PM) Well, I didn't do too shabby with my Posada and Shefield today...How did everyone else do fantasy baseballwise? Crappy, Damon & Gordon.
  11. I live in St. Louis, so I'm going to KC for Sat. and Sun.
  12. Jim Caple picked Cleveland to win the AL wild card.
  13. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Apr 3, 2005 -> 12:38 AM) League minimum -- $312,000. How long?
  14. This doesn't really fit here, but I got a kick out Ozzie's quote.
  15. QUOTE(Brian @ Apr 1, 2005 -> 03:37 PM) My junior year at SIU, Govenor Ryan showed up to either campaign or for just a speech, and as he left, a female student threw a cream pie in his face. Yeah, i remember that, but unlike Buchanan, Ryan was a real hard ass about it and wanted the girl to be punished to the fulll extent of the law.
  16. If this has been brought up previously, I apologize, but I have not seen it. Interesting note on that banner: Has anybody else noticed that Mark Buherle & Kerry Wood have pitched in exactly the same number of games? MB threw 25 games in relief in 2000, so KW has more starts, but the numbers are very similar, esp. considering KW is considered a god in the baseball media and MB is kind if an afterthought at best. KW MB Games 164 164 Games Started 164 139 Record 67-50 69-45 ERA 3.63 3.76 CG 11 15 Shut outs 5 5 WHIP 1.26 1.24 HR 109 109 Ks 1209 581 BB 512 240 K/BB 2.36 2.42 Wild Pitches 45 8

  18. QUOTE(sec159row2 @ Mar 31, 2005 -> 03:21 PM) whatever.... I ran a book for 8 years(for amusement only ) and this is what I was taught... vegas could care less about 10%... they want the home runs... it doesn't happen every game, but it happens... I always thought that a bookmakers best scenario was to have equal $$$ on either side of the bet, that way they are guaranteed to make money.
  19. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 31, 2005 -> 03:22 PM) I know that name, he has been one of my sleeper fantasy picks as he qualifies at 1b, 2b, 3b, and OF. I tried to avoid all Twins & Cubs, so I don't have to root for them.
  20. QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ Mar 31, 2005 -> 09:12 AM) Actually all I want out of Crede is solid defense and a .280-.300 average...IMO, .295, 8 HR's, 80RBI's > .240, 28HR's, 80RBI's. We need baserunners, not home runs. .280-.300? That's probably asking a little much. Plus Joe's HRs will clear the bases for Uribe & Pods to run wild.
  21. QUOTE(Reddy @ Mar 30, 2005 -> 04:10 PM) ya know, theres a lot of CWS in the league leaders this spring... just check it out, Carl, Rowand, Pauly and Pods all in there Link?
