Absolutely, but there’s more to it than just the income. Album sales can determine if a band gets a chance to make another album with any kind of label support. I will try to find an interview I watched a while ago explaining the effects of streaming across the industry even down recording engineers and other people you wouldn’t think of. To be clear, I’m not trying to call anyone out on using streaming services, I use them.
