  1. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 12:55 PM) Tiger's board says Maggs had 'dizziness'. Not sure if there was some kind of collision though. He better get back to Austria to correct that dizziness.
  2. We're in game 2 and Crede is driving me nuts.
  3. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 12:04 PM) Looks like no one is at the game They never draw for weekday day games
  4. QUOTE(SAVVY18 @ Apr 5, 2005 -> 07:30 PM) I just remembered to look tonite, but Comcast is offering a free preview of the MLB Extra Innings package April 4th thru April 10th. I'm watching the Cards/Stro's game right now. Take advantage of it while you can. Especially you out of towners! I watched Seattle blow their lead last night. Anyway, this package is worth it. It was great watching about 6 baseball games last night.
  5. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Apr 5, 2005 -> 09:35 AM) This is very possible, and could definatley work in our favor, especially against the homerun heavy teams in our division, detroit and Cleveland Konerko said he thought the ball was "jumping" in batting practice, unusual when the wind is blowing off the lake as it does in April. "If anything," he said, "that [FUNdamentals] structure should help [home runs], especially if the wind is blowing in." It looks like the jury is still out.
  6. I love a 1-0 victory. We've struggled with those games in the past.
  7. QUOTE(Mplssoxfan @ Apr 4, 2005 -> 03:03 PM) Yeah, baby! And Buehrle wins a game for my fantsay squad! Mine as well. Kerry Wood is so much better than MB.
  8. QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Apr 4, 2005 -> 02:09 PM) Didn't Beuhrle face the minimum in a 2 hitter last year? Wasn't that at Cleveland too? He did face the minimum, can't remember where.
  9. Have a great time if your going to the game. I'll be sitting behind a desk like a sucker.
  10. He doesn't seem like a Belicheck type of guy, but neither did C. Dillon.
  11. AL East - Yanks AL Central - Twins AL West - Angels WC - Red Sox NL East - Braves NL Central - Cards NL West - Giants WC - Padres ALCS Angels over Yankees NLCS Cards over Braves WS Angels over Cards
  12. QUOTE(tonyho7476 @ Apr 1, 2005 -> 09:39 AM) ok, no twins...how about Packer fans? I love them fat, cheese-eatin, coon-skin hat wearin', inbreds. Come on, please? Don't forget Red Wings fans. Oh wait, hockey is dead. Nice touch on the Mariotti postings.
  13. It's rare the Sox ever get love from ESPN, thought I'd share: Todd (Voorhees, NJ) Tim, you're the best on Baseball Tonight... now that's out of the way, who was the best young pitcher you saw this spring? TIM KURKJIAN Thank you for that, Todd. Brandon McCarthey of the White Sox was the best young pitcher I saw this spring. A scout told me he was the best pitcher he saw this spring in Arizona, period. He throws 4 pitches for strikes, has a great sinker, and reminds people of Jack McDowell.
  14. QUOTE(KWs OK for Me @ Mar 30, 2005 -> 11:11 AM) Yea I did, it just reinforced my hatred of Peter Gammons. He rightly said that he had no grasp of how the Sox are going to do this year. At least he admitted his ignorance this time. Kruk said that he could see the Sox overtaking Minnesota but still has Minny as the favorite to win the division and Harold Reynolds said that all five starters would have to live up to their potential to truly compete. And everyone on the show has a hardon for Detroit for some reason. Thanks for the update. Nothing surprising. Detroit is last years KC.
  15. QUOTE(ptatc @ Mar 24, 2005 -> 03:59 PM) Nobody has burritos like El Farol in Justice I will second that. Those are the best.
  16. QUOTE(KevHead0881 @ Mar 24, 2005 -> 03:54 PM) I luuuve El Famous Burrito. Buy I'm more of a Chipotle guy myself. Politte pitches out of a jam. My opinion, El Famous kills Chipotle. It's way fatter and greasier=way better.
  17. The pitchers all seem hungover today. :puke
