I had the #8 pick in a 12 team league, and I went against everything I believed in when I took WRs in rounds 2 (Dez Bryant) and 3 (Demaryius Thomas) because I didn't like the quality of RB left on the board when I was drafting. Now I'm a little short on stud RBs, but I feel like I have some elite talent at WR. Also, if you don't get one of the top 3-4 TEs, you're going to be stuck with garbage at that position. Trey hit his 3rd HR for Bristol. Thomore had a really nice game at the plate going 3-4 with a double. Keenan Walker seems absolutely lost.

Don't overlook the entire tweet. Olney said that the DBacks are among "teams" talking about Peavy, so according to him, there is a market. Also, Rick Hahn blatantly said he's looking for position players. I would doubt that the scouts were only at the game to watch Delgado.

I don't understand how Micah Johnson isn't a top 10 prospect in this system. He's one of the few players who has put up solid (and in some areas, even gaudy) numbers at an age appropriate level, and even earned a promotion. In a system that has not been short on disappointment, he's been a bright spot.

Danish pitched: 2IP, 2H, 1ER, 1BB, 1K. His ERA is at 2.00. Thaddius Lowry had a crazy stat line in the same game: 2IP, 3ER, 6H, and 5Ks.

Rios hasn't homered since June 9 and is hitting just .163 in his last 11 games. An NL scout also questioned his hustle during the TB series.

Barnum was 3-4 with another HR. He now has 3.

Jason Churchill of ESPN suggests Dunn may be a fit in TB. He says TB needs a LH run producer and Dunn has been just that lately. He also states that TB has an abundance of minor league talent which seemingly makes the two teams good trade partners. The Sox would need to pay some of the remaining money owed to Dunn to make this work. Dunn will make another $7.5mil this season and $15mil next season.
