Now that Oswalt is seemingly off the market, I would expect the Cardinals to make a pretty big push for Lilly the next few days, probably driving his price up to where none of us want anything to do with him.

Complete 180 for me watching this team this season. In may in the same 5-1 situation i probably would have turned the game off knowing we werent even going to give it the ole college try. Today, I knew we would comeback and at least tie the game at some point. Go Sox!

man this thread is nuts. I think we can all agree that we want to have a good farm system and that it helps both the MLB roster and for making trades... Oh the Sox won again btw.

If the Sox do deal Hudson to get Dunn, what about acquiring Ted Lilly? What will the price tag be on him? RIght now it appears that the Cubs options are dwindling and they are willing to pick up some of his deal. He could easily take that 4/5 spot and we could be in business. From MLBTR:
