Garland for Vazquez - Get It Done Kenny unless Garland resigns within the next day or two.

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Dec 13, 2005 -> 05:49 PM) Is Steven Drew available? I think Conor Jackson is

Eric Moulds is probably going to be released from what I just heard on ESPN.
-
They'll probably have Aireese Currie on the roster. If they sign Peerless Price, I'd be shocked.

Can anyone give me info on Group D? -
QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Dec 13, 2005 -> 04:39 PM) That is even worse. That signals Frank to Minnesota or Frank to Cleveland.
-
If it's Garland for Javy straight up, I'd do it simply because of flexibility. If they want more thrown in on our part, they're on crack.

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Dec 13, 2005 -> 12:28 AM) I try. I just don't see the connection. But whatever, It's cuz I'm bored out of my mind. Understandably so. Not much has happened in the past week.

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Dec 12, 2005 -> 11:17 PM) Yes, I know, but he refers to McCarthy and Jenks...both of which came from the Sox minors. It just doesnt fit to me. If he wanted to talk about additions to the 2005 season, why didnt he mention AJ or Pods or Duke or Dye? That's nitpicking at its finest.

I haven't gotten any noticeable differences at all. Most of the time, however, I download the ISO file from a torrent and burn it straight to the DVD since it's way less of a hassle. Takes longer though.

Oh yeah, because who the hell would want to spend more time with their family? That crazy bastard! -
Guide. All the programs it tells you to use are free IIRC. http://www.dvdr-digest.com/articles/18_1.html

BEARSSSSSSSSSSSSSS vs Steelers
nitetrain8601 replied to NUKE_CLEVELAND's topic in A and J's Olde Tyme Sports Pub
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Dec 11, 2005 -> 04:25 PM) Umm, they gave up 21 and were dominate the entire game. Points aren't the only sign. The Bears got clocked and if the weather was better and they weren't just closing the game out by stalling, they could have scored more. Offensively we had no chance at winning this game. You all are idiots to think that we can win a shootout, we can't. Not with Orton, not with Grossman. Unless we have Peyton or Farve or another top QB we aren't going to do that. Were not built around that. Thats like asking a Hummer to win the Indy 500, it won't happen. A hummer could win some off-road challenge though. We need to play our game and when our defense isn't doing is job we have no chance. Plain and simple and there is nothing the Bears can do about that. It doens't have the personel to be a high scoring offense and it won't win high scoring games (unless the defense is getting us field position and the offense takes advtange of the short field). Since when is 21 points a shootout? -
I agree with Hammerhead on everything minus AI and that's very hard to do because me and HHJ never agree on anything basketball related.

Agent: Artest wants to remain a Pacer
nitetrain8601 replied to greasywheels121's topic in A and J's Olde Tyme Sports Pub
Artest also plays SG. In fact I think he starts at SG and Jackson at SF. Orlando could stick him there if they were able to trade for him. Here's what I said about him on the Bulls board: -
QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Dec 10, 2005 -> 06:05 PM) He didnt do much to help us win the Series. Nothing more than a replacement player at DH would have done Everett was one of our more consistant players in the playoffs.

Damaso Marte could be headin to the Dodgers
nitetrain8601 replied to JDsDirtySox's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Bradley is good for certain teams. He would be good for the Cubs because it seems like guys in their clubhouse don't really care about winning. They seem to go around acting casual about everything. They need someone who would call someone out when they're not doing their job. -
Both healthy, probably Frank & Rowand simply because Thomas is a guy people still fear and indicated by his walk numbers, plus he strikes out less. A true #3 hitter in the sense.

QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Dec 9, 2005 -> 10:57 PM) I know stats don't tell everyting but greatness is mostly based on stats and championships. For example, if it was based on defense, Bruce Bowen would be one of the most popular players in the NBA. I didn't say it was based purely on defense. It's based on impact on the game. Pippen had a huge impact on the game. There's a reason why he was almost MVP in 2002 with Portland with only 11ppg. He was a leader and helped in so many aspects of the game.
-
QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Dec 9, 2005 -> 10:51 PM) idk, I just think he was more than a complimentary player, but not a superstar. And yes statistically when Jordan wasn't there averaging over 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists. That's very solid, but unlike some of the greats, when his career was ending, his ability statistically really took a hit. He was old already. Look at Gary Payton's career. And Gary Payton is definately a HOF PG. He was better than Kidd for much of his career. Stats don't tell the whole story. And complitmentary player? How do you explain '94 when he was within inches of winning the season MVP and when he won the All-Star game MVP? Pippen was an awesome player in the shadow of Jordan. It's sad that Pip will never get the full recognition he deserved because he was definately an al-time great. The guy could do soooo many things.
-
QUOTE(qwerty @ Dec 9, 2005 -> 10:01 PM) Would have been better in my opinion and would have gotten alot more recognition. He was the best all around player in the league the when jordan went to try out baseball. I agree. Like someone said on RealGM. Put him on the Showtime Lakers in place of Magic and I bet he gets more recognition, has better numbers and is named one of the greatest PG's ever if not these best. His defense was stifling and his basketball IQ was off the charts. Add to that his athleticism and you have a great great player. Unfortunately, he'll always be in Jordan's shadow.
-
QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Dec 9, 2005 -> 09:59 PM) This team is just unbelieveably frustrating to watch. Got that right.
-
BTW, did anyone catch Lovie Smith at the game?
-
Our offense looks horrible. Tonight's a game in which we really could use a Tim Thomas *ducks for cover*
