Keep the Fantastic 4.(or Group 4 if you prefer). I honestly think you have to keep this whole team. There's no way you could significantly increase this team unless someone offers you Manny for your worst prospect. Anyway, Wilbon just gave the White Sox 33.333% of repeating next year. He said because we're so deep at pitching and we're keeping it for next year. Anyway, I think if we also somehow keep Frank and PK, that will be our big offseason acquisition. We'll have consistant power added to our lineup.

OMG, it's finally starting to sink in........

Anyone have the video that WGN was showing? I want to see the season in review they had. Looked bad ass. -
A+++++++ experience. Me and other UIC students lined up on Harrison and went nuts. Then after they passed, almost everyone bumrushed the blue line so we could meet them at LaSalle. Greatest party ever. There was this one prick wearing nothing but Cubs garb though and taunting everyone.

I'd say it's very possible. I don't buy the whole college excuse. Tons of college kids go to parties and Cub games. Chicago has U of C, UIC, Depaul, Northwestern and Loyola. And before you argue that those places are too far. For college kids, no they're not. College kids usually are parting by 7pm when there isn't anything else to do. I say the ones that were going to Cub games will now be going to Sox games. Tickets will be harder to get by and the lines will be a little bit longer, but I don't care. I got to witness a World Series Championship.

Greatest owner ever. He is definately a Chicago guy. Works hard, takes s***, but keeps on chugging. When he cried today, I got teary eyed because it showed me that he really really wanted this. He wasn't just about the bottom line like so many people would like to claim.

The White Sox are always referred to as a team. After seeing the parade today and the attitudes of everyone, I disagree. The 2005 Chicago White Sox were not a team, but a family playing baseball. This White Sox team strikes me as a group that will always be friends with each other no matter what. They set Chicago ablaze. 2005 White Sox World Series Rally = Greatest city party I've ever attended.

AJ's walkoff has to be in there. That's the moment when people started believing. Also Crede's walkoff against Cleveland.

Lol, ESPN just had a thing on it. Funny stuff. Go to ESPN.com. They have a poll on where you think the ball is.

QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 04:54 PM) The one that makes me go f***ers...is Tim K report when he says " Destany ends in NY but now come to Chicago.. Always have to add the Yankee factor in their.. Here my thing.. I want to see Steinbriner face with the Sox winning it all! No he was saying it in a good way. He said, "They say destiny ends in New York, but now it ends in Chicago."

QUOTE(kapkomet @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 04:33 PM) Don't forget the winner of the ASG gets home field... do you want game one back at US Cellular next year? HELL YEA! Nope. I actually want to celebrate the World Series win at home this year.

QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 04:30 PM) we won the world series... ...of poker?

All games were great. All games came down to the 8th and 9th innings.

I agree. Congrats to them big time. They did a hell of a job coming back from the dead. If we don't win one next year, I hope they win won simply because of Biggio and Bagwell. -
QUOTE(CanOfCorn @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 04:05 PM) I say, leave all our guys at home and play a double infield of Morneau and Broussard at 1st, Martinez and Mauer at C, Hunter and Sizemore in CF, etc. I strongly disagree. Morneau at 3B, Broussard at 2B, Hunter @ C, Mauer in CF, Martinez in RF, etc. Ozzie knows how to play the proper lineups. Hell, he might put himself in at SS.

Well the BBTN crew was happy with the series. Reynolds said that the first 2 games of the World Series had the loudest crowds he's ever heard. Even more electric than the Yankees. BBTN was saying nothing but great things about us.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 04:14 PM) Maybe I got the ball. Seriously, we all know the ball is in the safe hands of the Rally Crede!!!!
-
Haha. Well let him have it. We didn't come to win a ball, we came to win a World Series trophy and rings that come along with it.
-
I don't know. I think Ozzie will take a couple of players who he thinks won't get the recognition but deserve to go, but probably won't play them much, especially if we're in contention for the division again.

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/playoffs2005...tory?id=2205592 Looks like the players wanted it moved up and got their wish. I won't be able to make it to the Cell at 11:00, but I'll try to catch them on LaSalle.

He calls himself White Sox Man. He also has a sidekick, though I forgot what the guy's name was. They were featured on Fox Morning News Chicago last week.

QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 03:38 PM) Looks like I'm going to rush through my Theater exam so I could get there at 11:30. I definately can't miss this.

Beautiful Front Covers. I might have to get a new Printer so I could print them out. I still gotta buy the Tribune and Sun-Times. The Red Eye has a mini poster on the inside.
