Early heart troubles for Curry?

QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Oct 14, 2005 -> 10:13 PM) If he loves the sport so much why not get in shape to play it until last year.......And sure he can like it but is it risk your life to play a "game".... I love playing basketball too but I cant make a living doing it and he was able to making a living just to stay away from it. Curry dominated in high school at a heavy weight. When he entered the NBA, the Bulls had some of the worst personel working for them. Floyd didn't know what he was doing. Cartwright had the right idea, but lost the team. No one ever told Eddy, you're too fat and you need to lose weight. No one ever gave him s*** for his defense until Skiles arrived. That's when Curry decided he would dedicate himself even more. -
QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Oct 15, 2005 -> 11:26 AM) who says we wouldnt give coop the money? with the playoff revenue and all of the apparel sold already, the team payroll should go up anyway. Yep, we should even gain enough cash to actually give Cooper a jersey.

Eh. Deep down Mariotti loves this team. Anyone catch that new show on ESPN Classic with Chris something? Mariotti was on it saying that the White Sox style of play makes it fun to watch and he was a fan. He said the White Sox have revived Chicago and everything. I mean he was slurping off everyone including Ozzie.

Excellent.

QUOTE(Antonio Osuna @ Oct 14, 2005 -> 06:39 PM) Am I the only one here that feels sorry for Curry? I do too. Maybe it's because I met him before, I know how nice and sincere he is. -

QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Oct 14, 2005 -> 12:31 PM) http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/IND/ 1998 Coach- Bird Record- 58-29 lost in Eastern Conference Finals 1999 Coach- Bird Record- 33-17 lost in Eastern Conference Finals(strike year) 2000 Coach- Bird Record- 56-26 lost in NBA Finals 2001 Coach- Thomas Record- 41-41 lost in 1st round 2002 Coach- Thomas Record- 42-40 lost in 1st round 2003 Coach- Thomas Record- 48-34 lost in 1st round 2004 Coach- Carlisle Record- 61-21 lost in Eastern Conference Finals 2005 Coach- Carlisle Record- 44-38 lost in Eastern Conference Semi-finals Come on, Isiah did a bad job with good players, and they barely scraped out a .500 record and never got out of the 1st round. Carlisle was handed the same players and dominated. Bird dominated with the players he handed off to Isiah, and isiah couldnt hack it. You do realize that Indiana was rebuilding after they made it to the NBA Finals, right? Isiah had to develop a very raw Jermaine O'Neal since they traded away All-Star Dale Davis. They also had to develop Al Harrington, Jamaal Tinsley and others. They also lost Rik Smits, Jalen Rose became lazy after his fat contract, Austin Croshere was severaly overpaid with Bird's advising. It's not as plain and simple as you made it Kyyle. -
QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Oct 14, 2005 -> 03:43 PM) Never thought I'd see that beautiful logo printed on those tickets. P.S. This picture was taken from chicagosports.com Psh, we all know the Rally Crede is the new official logo of the White Sox.

QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Oct 14, 2005 -> 03:22 PM) Timo will sneak on the field wearing Dye's uniform. Nobody will know the difference. Thank you lord, err Rally Crede. We shall now stand a chance.

QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Oct 14, 2005 -> 03:03 PM) Just a little over 3 hours until game time... Pods, LF Iguchi, 2B Dye, RF PK, 1B Everett, DH Rowand, CF AJ, C Crede, 3B Uribe, SS Gar, RHP NO TIMO?!?!?!?!?!
-
7:28 CT is the first pitch.
-
QUOTE(Reddy @ Oct 14, 2005 -> 02:04 PM) its kinda creepy but i... like i really believe in the rally crede. i was sitting in my seat in the 9th inning up in the second to last row - hands in front of my face prayer style whispering to myself: rally crede, rally crede, rally crede. is that weird? Nope, that just means it's working. Rally Crede - It'll turn you religious!

Call a ticketmaster in a state that doesn't have a baseball team. That's what my friend was advised from a Ticketmaster agent himself.

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Oct 14, 2005 -> 11:30 AM) I love AJ more and more each day. Me too.

What? No one is feenin' for the days of the future I-Rod, Miguel Olivo??

QUOTE(elrockinMT @ Oct 13, 2005 -> 06:45 PM) I love Joe Crede and have supported him all along, but we have had some pretty nasty mean spirited things said about him on this board. The season is 162 games plus some more, if your lucky. Joe has been a huge part of this teasm success. Everyone fails some times and comes through on others. Joe has been clutch True Dat.
-
QUOTE(qwerty @ Oct 13, 2005 -> 03:57 PM) Joe crede could get a hit every at-bat from here on out and he will not get close to the price range of 8 million a season. Over three years? Then eight million looks more likely. Try 4 for 7 million and a team option for a 5th year worth 2 million. That's best case for Joe.
-
He sure as hell got lucky. If I were the manager, I might've fired him right after the game.
-
QUOTE(shakes @ Oct 13, 2005 -> 02:47 PM) Rex just said Scosia should have pulled his guys off the feild and let AJ score. It would have put a lot of pressure on the umps. I don't think he realizes the game would have been over. Haha, exactly. The Umps would've just went home then.

Did Brantley kill Patrick? I'm listening to the Dan Patrick show and some lady is doing the show.

QUOTE(Iwritecode @ Oct 13, 2005 -> 02:02 PM) Look at the top righthand picture and then look at the two middle ones. The ball would've had to defy the laws of gravity to end up that high in Josh Paul's glove... At the very least, it's inconclusive.
