QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 25, 2005 -> 09:57 PM) Crede didn't look like he was too hurt running around the bases, so hopefully it's just precautionary. Actually he did. When he was rounding 3rd it didn't look like he was running hard at all. Like he was running at problably 50% his speed. -

QUOTE(El Piervizdyeguchansodnik @ Apr 25, 2005 -> 09:41 PM) CHRIS f***IGN WIDGER!? WHO!??!?! Chris f***ing Widger...who? Mike Jones, Mike Jones, back then h**s didn't want me, now h**s all on me... Sorry got away with that. Now let's keep the lead. -
Let's not get this confused. Lebron has always been a pass first player. He's playing SG when he's not a SG. He's a big PG and if he was playing PG, his shooting percentage would go up by alot. He would do nothing but help the turnovers come down and help this team drastically in the playoffs. With that said, I don't think he's coming here. I think he'll end up staying in Cleveland.

What about Mike Sirotka???
-
Bautista is flat out nasty IMO. He's the cousin of Pedro and Ramon Martinez(yes thee Pedro Martinez) and he could be just as good as them one day. His first game of the season I think he only gave up no runs in 8IP. This is going to be a toughy for our offense IMO. Hopefully I'm wrong.

I personally didn't want Damaso to go out for another inning. He's my favorite Sox, but he hasn't shown his dominate stuff. He barely survived that inning. He isn't following through on most of his pitches and those are the ones that end up really high or really low.

QUOTE(qwerty @ Apr 24, 2005 -> 02:41 AM) Elite being one of the top three perimeter defenders in the league since 2001? Watch a game or two of his before you just go and agree with jordan or pippen or whoever. I have a good feeling you may have just watched one spurs game other than when they faced the bulls. Ron artest is not good defensively because he has o'neal right? Since that applies to bowen it should for artest too. Like i said, let's start a poll at either place and get the results. First off, Ron Artest was always great defensively. Since he was with the Bulls and had nobody in the middle. Coming out of college, that was his thing. It's funny how Bowen turns great defensively as soon as he joins Tim Duncan and David Robinson. Just a coincidence though, right??

QUOTE(qwerty @ Apr 23, 2005 -> 10:25 PM) Oh, and what pippen said about bowen makes him look like a f***ing moron. Not a good defensive player? He just has to run to his seven foot friend? Why the f*** is his seven foot friend not a first team defender then? Bown is one of the best defenders in the nba plain and simple. Everything else pippen said though i can see but that just pissed me off. It doesn't make him look like a dumbass. One of the greatest, if not the greatest lock down defender in history would know. How come Bowen didn't latch on with other teams like the Bulls??? How come when he was with the Heat his defense wasn't any good??? What Pip said was truth. BTW, The Bulls will continue tradition and wear black shoes for at least tommorow's game.

Bradley is a good player. Leave him alone already. Anyway, if anyone could develop Clarett, the Broncos can.

QUOTE(elrockinMT @ Apr 23, 2005 -> 08:08 PM) Looks like Marte is going to blow this one. So much for the gut Unfortunately I think so. Marte doesn't look like a strikeout guy anymore like he was two years ago because he never follows through on any of his pitches. So sad because he's my favorite Sox. -

I think I have the answer why he's doing this stupid s***. Ozzie can't manage pitching. That or he's drunk. -
QUOTE(toasty @ Apr 23, 2005 -> 07:58 PM) if not, here comes mccarthy! I heard McCarthy hasn't looked good his past 2 outings.

QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 23, 2005 -> 07:57 PM) Now Marte is warming up, as they have a handful of righties coming up. I have absolutely no clue what game Ozzie is watching tonight now Apparently the wrong one. Maybe he's watching the Celts blow out the Pacers. -

Time for a HR jack Mr. Crede. -
He was throwing one of those dominate games against a bad hitting club that I was saying that Contreras would get his wins from. Hopefully all we have to do is skip his start and we'll be fine.

I'm guessing that Ozzie has yet to learn why you shouldn't put 1 inning pitchers in for 2 innings. He better hope we win this game. -

QUOTE(whitesoxfan99 @ Apr 23, 2005 -> 05:41 PM) To bad he never catches the ball though. Too bad to be a YAC monster you have to catch the ball. Wait, does that mean those highlights were when they handed the ball off to him??? Stop crapping on the guy. He's making a transition(ala Boldin) and he'll be better than what we have at WR other than Mushin. -

Ran a 4.42 so I guess he'll team up with Berrian to be our burners. -

Mark Bradley, welcome to the Bears. Mel Kiper Jr. says he thinks it's one of the best picks of the draft and says he's better than Mark Clayton after the catch. Says he's a playmaker. Sounds like a great pick.
