  1. Haha, McGwire did it and he knows it. He is caught up. I don't think Palmeiro or Sosa mind lying because they'll be in their respective countires in a couple of years. They can't do anything by then. And the investigation(to find out they're lying) will take ages to find out if they actually did it or not.
  2. He was a great guy. I want to know what the hell happened to his arm in Oakland.
  3. I've been watching since about 11 and this is flat out boring. They aren't going to get anything out of this except kids, don't use steroids. That kid's manager who had 20 players on the team taking steroids has to be an idiot not to realize what's going on and not showing the kid a proper diet(giving him a list to eat).
  4. I think Dusty would be the first to go. Remember, he really didn't want to go to Chicago, but all the other jobs were taken and he wanted to manage that year. Hell, I think he would've choosed the White Sox if they were there over the Cubs(IMHO). I think he'll jet once he gets the chance if he's not fired yet.
  5. I don't think Cotts is guarenteed a playoff spot. I'd say you have a better chance of seeing Walker making it and Cotts would probably be stretched out in AAA. Cotts would be a September callup though.
  6. Not worried. He's pitched in every game possible. He's not going to have an ERA of zero, but he'll do good again this year. I can't wait to see his new pitch.
  7. He thinks very highly of McCarthy. The more and more I see of this kid, he seems like he's going to be the next Rick Ankiel(before control problems happened). He's going to be the Miguel Cabrera of pitching.
  8. I converted Ginter into a starter and he absolutely dominated for me.
  9. Jay Fiedler sucked. You're better off with Craig Krenzel. I would sign Carter over Blake, but wouldn't mind Blake. Carter was a sharp backup last year and has proved he could play. I honestly think the Bears should just resign Jeff George though. He knows every offense basically and he could throw the ball deep.
  10. If I'm the Sox, I would pick him up. Heck he can't be that bad. If anything he'll add to minor league depth.
  11. ^^Thanks for clearing that up. I know he's been a good ambassodor to the game which is why I was thinking this was strange.
  12. I thought he wanted to speak out on steroids. I guess maybe MLB is forcing him too. I hope that's what it is.
  13. I think this is a nothing article. I don't think Willie will be starting and I don't see him being traded. I think KW is just trying to show confidence in Willie so he doesn't have a moping player in the clubhouse.
  14. *patiently waits for part that involves White Sox*
  15. Still think it's a good signing. Nothing's going to convince me otherwise. He'll add depth to the minors and could be a good bench player if he does come up. No biggy.
  16. Just like Aaron Rowand not batting 3rd just like so many predicted and wanted, I'm predicting that McCarthy isn't the 6th starter.
  17. I don't think the Bulls will bring him back unfortunately. I see him possibly signing with Charlotte.
  18. Bonds, Foppert, Williams, Schmidt, and JT Snow for Borchard and Crazy Carl.
  19. I say K-Dub should try to get him some how. I agree that when his control is on, he has as good as stuff as Wood and not as violent as a motion. K-Dub get it done. It can't hurt at all and stick him in the bullpen. Then you could have him as a spot starter and a lefty in the pen like Oz wants. Willie(even though I support him) for Ankiel.
  20. I play on pro too. It's okay Soxnbears, you're not the only one.
  21. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Mar 11, 2005 -> 05:20 PM) I wouldn't doubt it....for some reason they REALLY want a RB. If I was them, I'd stay put and draft Rolle 7th and Williamson 18th. It solidifies 2 needs for them. I heard they want one of the WR's and are kind of scared about the Bears with the #4 taking one and then the Titans at #6 taking the other. It's not for a RB.
  22. QUOTE(SoxFanForever @ Mar 11, 2005 -> 05:56 PM) That is just so wrong. Yet so true. People have already annointed him a HOF and the best leadoff hitter ever.
  23. I think the list goes: Hermanson(I think even KW said it was nice to have a spot starter who has done it before) Diaz(hopefully they won't bring him up hours before the game) Adkins(they need to stretch him out) McCarthy(don't want him up too early and there are obviously other options, but a fast up and coming guy) Cotts(needs to be stretched out this year)
  24. Pretty good. I thought he was better than Reed, but if I mentioned that I would get flamed.
  25. I personally talk to my riends about whatever sport we're watching since we're watching something 24/7 or playing a video game that has to deal with sports.
