Funny thing is that the White Sox were actually able to hit with RISP. They were second in the league in BA with RISP behind only . . . you guessed it the World Champion Red Sox. The White Sox batted .291 with RISP and if they are able to keep that up with there new top of the order I foresee good things from the South Side. Uribe, Rowand, Thomas, Konerko all excelled with RISP. If this continues to be the case the Sox will produce more runs on a consistent basis. And with the addition of SPod and Tim Raines we will certainly be running the bases paths better and more. So they will have more oppurtunity to hit with RISP. I'm quite excited about this change in the team. Girls dig the long ball, but it don't win championships!
