    Circuit City

i can't remember ever going to circuit city for anything.
  2. It's no point taking on that shrieking banshee. It's fun watching peanut try though.
  3. no, for one I didn't post what you responded to, so that wasn't me.
  4. QUOTE (lostfan @ Jan 16, 2009 -> 05:21 PM) That's the first time I can ever recall you saying anything that strongly in favor of gun control. It annoys me how people use gun statistics. "Check out Tassaloosa Wyoming! Everyone has a gun and they haven't had a crime in 14 years!" Tassalloosa, town of 400. I mean, I'm saying what we have now is fine. I think violent felons give up their right to own a weapon to society, at least for a number of years. I think background checks and all that jazz are reasonable. But, until you can guarantee people their safety, you can't take away their means to protect themselves. s***, even still I have a hard time saying in a place like Chicago concealed carry is reasonable, honestly.
  5. I don't think I'll ever own a gun, if I do it'll be for sport like a 10 or 12 gauge, but, I think cities should have the right to have stringent gun laws because of their higher population problems and I think there should be restrictions on who should get guns, like bearsox. I don't want him with a gun.
  6. hes so fussy and especially not smart though
  7. The best is when someone is actually talking on their phone and try to grab something with their other free hand and hold the phone b/w head and shoulder and it slips out and plop. Both hands occupied and phone into glass. Too funny.
  8. I'd fell much better about one pitcher developing his stuff as a starter with another in the pen then 2 as starters. Buerhle learned a lot in the pen and i feel like Garland did too in 01 and 02 when he was put back in there.
  9. yeah everytime I see that happen I can't contain the laughter. It isn't the act, but the reaction after they realized what happened.
  10. they got duped then huh
  11. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jan 15, 2009 -> 08:12 PM) This part is true. Still doesn't excuse the tax evasion. Yeah, but, if I have to deal with Larry summers as treas. sec. because of Geithner's tax follies I'll be pretty pissed. He paid it now, I'll choose to believe this incredibly brilliant man was completely clueless on "hey, wait, taxes?" than have to deal with summers and the failing female mind.
  12. I consider my night of drinking successful if I somehow remembered to take my contacts out, you should too. To help this, I always bring a contact case pre-filled with contact solution. It's this type of forward thinking that will help me in the real world.
  13. QUOTE (Cknolls @ Jan 15, 2009 -> 07:54 PM) Who was one of the bunch that allowed LEH to fail and gave BSC to JPM. The problem is you won't be able to find someone with qualifications for this job that has clean hands in the financial collapse unless you go to some economics professor who predicted the whole thing.
  14. Eh I don't care. He seems to be considered the most likely individual to help most and it seems like working at the IMF was sticky for a lot of people there tax wise.

    Films Thread

I like how the previews has a chick riding some dude reverse cowgirl style.
  16. the point is how bad is our player development at that position when players who look absolutely terrible on the bears go elsewhere and look good.
  17. I really think that the bears are so bad at developing receivers that even if we got a great one they wouldn't ever shine. I mean merely seeing Justin Gage actually look like a competent receiver in tennessee is so far and beyond what he was in chicago it makes me crazy. Same with wade. These below avg. receivers leave us and become respectable elsewhere.
  18. I don't think I agree with that last paragraph, he clearly went after high priced talent last offseason though it didn't work out. I think he clearly just has a mandate to lower some payroll this year and is doing that.
  19. zumaya doesn't seem like someone you should rely on to stay healthy at this point.
  20. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...9011403682.html not really. Geithner isn't a democrat pick, he's one of the most qualified candidates for this position. further, there is 58 (soon 59) dem. senators, you think any of his people are really going to fail?
  21. What a great game! That 6 minute penalty kill was epic, but Buffalo seemed to lax up thinking they had so much time. WE had the best scoring chance in that 6 minutes. haha, that toews goal was maybe the most boring hockey goal I've ever seen.
