  2. QUOTE(Jimbo @ Nov 9, 2006 -> 05:04 PM) The smaller version of the IPOD comes with a clip in the box...does this version also? oh i see what you're saying now, I honestly don't know the answer to that question, i'll look.
  3. QUOTE(Jimbo @ Nov 9, 2006 -> 04:58 PM) I mean a clip for your waist? well yeah, i mean there are a bunch of ipod covers with clips on them. Bestbuy.com or apple.com should have what you are looking for.
  4. like, on the ipod? No. I mean you can buy these things with ipod covers.
  5. the dems did need a candi with exec experience.
  6. Well i never had a problem just putting it in my hoody, but i see the most people with the arm strap, so you may want to look for that one.

    LOST! thread

i don't know, no questions were really answered and they just ended it on a bigger cliffhanger than normal. It's kind of tiresome. While every other hour-long show resolves its main problems within the hour, lost just keeps rolling them over sometimes not even addressing them, and this is gonna go on for 4 more years? I mean its already getting wearisome. that said, last nights episode was awesome.

  11. i am in the profession of laughing at these types of situations. Its the only way to stay sane. Somehow, soxfan, i don't think you'd have the same stance if this was just a politician and not a minister.

    The Office

QUOTE(SoxFan562004 @ Nov 6, 2006 -> 06:55 PM) Just a quick question about television writing I've had for a little. How does a show with ongoing storylines use multiple writers? For instance, the person who plays Kelly wrote this episode, but it has to further storylines. I have had this question about the Sopranos mainly. Does the creator/producers have a template for the season, then go to the person writing a specific episode and say they have to include certain plot points in order to move the story along? i've always imagined that there is a principal writer, and then there is a script writing session to make everything match up, and refine.
  13. QUOTE(The Critic @ Nov 6, 2006 -> 06:36 PM) I guess they've been gone long enough to get nostalgic about it, and there's still enough interest to get some easy paydays. It's a win/win. i think there is far more interest in them. I'm just saying, cause the pixies dvd apparently shows them barely talking to each other and essentially in it for the $$ as zappa would say.
  14. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Nov 1, 2006 -> 12:11 AM) Yeah, not writing re-sign is almost as ridiculous as someone seeing the headline and thinking, "My gosh, Hinrich has resigned from the sport of Basketball." hahahahahahahahahaha

  17. even though i'm not a repub, i called a bunch of registered repub's to see if they were gonna vote for talent because it was some money in my pocket. I already absentee ballad voted. I threw up a little when i saw my options for governor in Illinois.
  18. isn't the rangers GM like 30 years old?
  19. i think there is a large diff b/w SOAP and borat, borat stemmed from da Ali G show, which has grown tremendously thanks to the internet, so the audience was being met up perfectly with the film release.
  20. again, i'm not talking about the actuality of the situation, i'm talking about the perception from the large consumer public.
  21. or the plethora of people who sound like this...jose gonzales, castanets, matt pond PA, sean lennon, etc
  22. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Nov 4, 2006 -> 06:48 AM) And to top it off, i just found a handful of unreleased Trout Mask Replica covers from a project he'll apparently never get around to finishing and they are also cool as hell. that just sounds like a bad idea to me.
  23. QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Nov 3, 2006 -> 10:43 PM) I didn't take it personally, if that what you took my response as. Like my post said, I think Ipods are overrated and underproduce. Apple needs to know there are definitely alternatives out there. Competition spurs innovation, which they are the leader in this category. I think they're lazy, right now, however. Any consumer willing to shell out 250-300 bucks off their hard earned cash should deserve better; demand it, even. while this is true, the style and interface of the ipods are more important, and however not true it is, people think that ipods are setting the standard in tech.
  24. i like the way american eagle jeans make me look and feel. And after all, that's what it's all about, soxtalk, that's what it's all about.
