  1. It wasn't his talent that made me question if the trade would work out, it was the injury. Like Butler, Zach has gotten better each full (sans last year), healthy year he has played. Everyone knew he had some big time potential when drafted - http://www.nbadraft.net/players/zach-lavine
  2. This. It just feels weird that it's over. I don't know what I expected to happen but He waved at the screen, said his final words...and that's it. I agree he got a little crazy the last few years but nobody can match the passion that he had for his team nowadays.
  3. That was hard to watch. Even thought it was gradual, I feel like I wasn’t prepared. I don’t care what others think, guy is a legend.
  4. “We are here at beautiful Progressive Field” - Hawk Who else noticed that?
  5. To be fair, a lot of the White Sox offensive players coming up from their system have sucked just like Bears QB's.
  6. I'm loving what is happening the last 10 days or so. Mostly likable guys on their team but the fans are unbearable again in my opinion and some talking shit about the Kopech situation
  7. I had 185 this week in ESPN. Alvin, Luck, Julio, Mixon, Green...basically every position player scored and baltimore defense. Hope that keeps up
  8. I’m no conspiracy theorist but this game seemed fixed to me. Rodgers carted off, comes back and can’t plant. Nothing but high snaps by Whitehair in the 2nd half. All offensive creativity disappears in the second half. A wheel route on 3rd and 1 to Cohen (not even a play action!!!) followed by blown coverage on 3rd down. And Fuller’s horrible dropped pick. C’mon Rodgers is the best in the game but this was seriously fishy to me.
  9. Bought a super clean CX-5 last year with a clean Carfax that was a loaner to Christian Jones of the Bears. Just traded it in for a CX9 at a different Mazda dealer, was expecting to get a few grand less than what we paid for it last year based off the numbers online but they came back with an extremely low offer and told us it was because it was in an accident (after we had told them it never was in one). Turns out, the car was in an accident exactly two years before we purchased it and the Carfax didn't begin reporting it until 4 months after we bought it, an almost 2.5 year delay on the report. Carfax reporting can typically take up to 90 days so that's off the table with the 2.5 year delay, it is infuriating that dealers can get away with not reporting it for so long and hold out until it is purchased. Of course the vehicle is a depreciating value but still cost us probably $2-3K in the swing of things. Not much we could have done right after finding out, needed to get a bigger car, had an insane deal on the CX9 and it was afterhours so I couldn't call the old dealer. This ever happen to anybody else? I'd love to call the dealer and threaten going to the media because the Carfax shows plain as day that it was reported 2.5 years after it happened.
  10. Rivers is pretty consistent, I made it a point to get him this year, he’s automatic and you know what your getting.
  11. Trade my first round pick (#1 overall) and 5th round pick for their #4 pick and 3rd rounder. Ended up having picks 4, 20, 21 and 24 equaling David Johnson, Michael Thomas, Devonta Freeman and then Mike Evans. Really happy with those being the first 4 picks along with Drew Brees dropping and Allen Robinson as our #3. Gurley went #1, he's a stud but a regression is likely to happen.
  12. I agree, I think Howard could have a better year than 2017 though to be honest just based off of offensive creativity. Also, Nagy left to come to Chicago...who knows how that offense will go with a new OC and Mahomes and Hunt
  13. Keep Goff and Howard. Howard has had a similar year to Hunt in 2016 and a solid 2017, that’s great value for a 2nd round back.
  14. It's as easy as googling a players name, the word "twitter" or "facebook" and then any keyword you want to find old tweets that have been sent. Young studs need to be doing their due diligence now on their stupidity/hatred before progressing into getting an agent and getting drafted/signing somewhere.
  15. It makes me think that some people have had these dug up for years and are just waiting for a certain time to expose them.
  16. Well, seeing as there is about 11 minutes of actual game play in the average NFL game, here's a nearly 5 minute video of his highlights. Of course there is work to do, he was a raw rookie on a bad offense with no real receiving weapons. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that now we have a legitimate (hopefully) modern offense. He made several nice plays while in the pocket under pressure and maneuvering through pressure in several of these. What's exciting? Having a young quarterback that can make some of these plays on a bad offense is.
  17. The Trib ranking the top 30 MLB neighborhoods. I can't stop laughing at the fact they ranked Wrigley so high but yet they needed to point out a "Bro Free Alternative". I would rank Target Field and Coors Field hoods over Wrigley. Also easy to point out that they missed at least 11 bars closer to GRF than Maria's, bias (or stupid) much? http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/ct-major-league-baseball-ballpark-neighborhoods-ranked-20180718-photogallery.html
  18. Current rap music is extremely subpar but LittleHurt is right, it wasn't as openly offensive but to me, many rock and roll stars lives are just as offensive. White people less guns but more hardcore drugs in the music industry. My family (including myself) grew up on rock and roll but we also love hip hop, the music has smooth lyrics and great beats if you find the right stuff, it doesn't just need to be for black people. Most of us also do not live a rock and roll life, same as hip hop/rap.
  19. Not exactly surprising with all the rebuilds, with as bad as it seems to have been, we’ve been one of the most winning cities of the last 25-30 years.
  20. Watching but no volume. Who is the grumpy looking Sox fan they keep showing in the audience?
  21. This has been a rule in the NBA before this became "a thing". They can still protest in the locker room by not having to be anywhere near the flag or the anthem. When you start losing your company money, changes will be made. If they want to do anything on live TV, it'll need to be on their own time like the rest of the US. See: Former ESPN Anchors
  22. house and techno is still very underground and doesn’t get the attention that music like Avicii made later in his career. There’s multiple spots going all night and into the morning in on the south and west sides every weekend.
  23. QUOTE (SonofaRoache @ Apr 16, 2018 -> 01:26 PM) HeGoan isn't struggling because it's cold. He's struggling because he has a steep learning curve for this country and the game of baseball here. He is young and will learn. I don't see him as a generational talent, but he can settle in hitting .275 with an OBP of 380. He will hit a ton of homers and doubles when he makes better contact. His defense has been surprisingly good though, which will add to his value. Those numbers sound like a generational 2B to me!
  24. Contreras, Bryant and Rizzo are the obvious studs in the lineup. The others have their moments but are meh.
