  1. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Jul 10, 2012 -> 01:39 PM)
    Everywhere I look people are overrating him. I even see Bulls fans saying we should have offered a 1st round pick for him to pry him away from the Nets. I see other teams fans saying he could be the next Kobe...(lol)

    Haven't watched him play much but many have compared him to Kobe, guy has a 7'1 wingspan, some thought he would be drafted as high as 10th. I can see why people are high on him

  2. I am in an 8 team fantasy baseball league with some buddies that we have done for about 5 years now on ESPN. I have gotten screwed over a couple of times with money but myself have always paid on time. I am a little late with payment this year and let a couple of guys know in the league who have proceeded to “freeze” my team in ESPN ( I am in first place), hmmmm to send the money or not send the money? I’d love to screw them now just for being dicks

  3. QUOTE (daa84 @ Jun 9, 2012 -> 08:46 PM)
    someone needs to explain to me how that was not a technical for hanging on the rim...and please dont try to explain that he was avoiding rondo

    Just asked the Facebook world that same question. Then he kicked his leg out like he was getting the crowd pumped up

  4. QUOTE (knightni @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 08:21 PM)
    If your pitching is strong, why even bother with Pettitte? He's no guarantee of success.

    Moustakas is good, but will he be bench or starter?

    Do you have another 3B just in case he slumps in the second half?

    Moose would slide ride into utility where Lawrie was, Pettite is just a bonus. My 3B is David Wright

  5. My pitching is very strong and I am a half game out of first. Was just offered Moustakas and Pettite for only Lawrie (I would give him Lawrie) - Is Moustakas finally the real deal, should I pull the trigger?

  6. so he showed up to court with a big smile on his face and laughing with his woman (probably thinking I wouldn't show up), he then finds out I am there and had to ask for a continuance because he did not have an attorney. When the Judge asked if he could afford an attorney, he answered "Ummmm, I don't know". LOL

  7. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 29, 2012 -> 01:36 PM)
    It sounds like this is a case where he is the only witness. You don't have much of a case without the only person who is pushing the case.

    I am just trying to determine if him even getting 10 days in jail is worth my time....I do have his address lol

    I heard a few weeks after this incident he was back in jail for something else, guy is a total scumbag. He faces up to 394 days since it is a misdemeanor and now to find out he has prior's is pretty funny

  8. QUOTE (G&T @ May 29, 2012 -> 09:25 AM)
    Uh...no. Take pictures of it now. Maybe it heals and you don't care later on, but if it doesn't heal you need evidence of how it looked. Make sure there's a date stamp on the pics.

    I have pic's

  9. It is also still in the healing process, I was going to see how it ended up after a couple of months of using Mederma and letting it heal completely before I do anything

  10. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ May 29, 2012 -> 09:03 AM)
    Yeah you'll definitely want to show up.

    How bad is the scar? Might be worth some $ in a civil suit depending on the circumstances.

    This guy is to put it lightly, white trash. It is not huge but it is noticeable and I work in sales where I am in front of people all day, every day. I was thinking more along the lines of going after the bar because he was actually kicked out and was allowed to come back in before this happened and he was kicked out again. This guy may have nothing

  11. Long story short I had a beer bottle chucked at my face for no reason, leaving a scar and almost near my eye which would have been devastating. I pressed charges and have a court date, I literally have not been to court for 10 years and that was for a speeding ticket. What is one to expect? Do I just show up and state my case, they sentence him to whatever and then it is over? Is it even worth it to show up to court?

  12. ump again but does anyone have any suggestions for a bachelor party bar/lounge in Manhattan? We will be eating in Flatiron on 5th and 23rd at Eataly and anywhere in the neighboring neighborhoods will work. We are looking for a couple of things, a classic bar would be cool but it is difficult to find that would be good for groups with a solid cocktail list for 15 people with Manhattan’s and the like, a solid craft beer list, Rooftop would be a plus but not needed, I would be lying if I said selection of women weren’t important either!

    There are just too many selections, was hoping somebody maybe had an experience with this! Thanks

  13. Does anybody happen to have a good template for a business proposal (my company presenting our product line to a retailer)? I personally have never written one and most of the templates online are either not very helpful or are for a business plan. Kind of annoying as I am pretty damn good at finding things on the internet

    What are the main topics that go into one? Thanks!

  14. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 23, 2012 -> 11:28 AM)
    Yeah, they kind of gauge how far they can take you out of the way. One of the girls that worked for me when I was in NYC alot took like an hour and a half cab ride. She was staying at the Hilton just south of central park and the cab took her all the way down through battery park up on surface streets through the lower and upper west side and then back around central park to the hotel. Basically a tour of manhattan. Hilarious.

    This story made me seriously LOL, thanks

  15. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 23, 2012 -> 11:09 AM)
    It was good for what it was. I am not a big fan of the really thin crust pizza. The toppings were very good though.

    I heard from most to get it well done or else it would be soggy, it worked out well. It is still a type of Pizza that one can get at numerous places in Chicago just as good if not better in my opinion

  16. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 23, 2012 -> 10:34 AM)
    Also forgot Jr.s Cheesecake and John's pizza in Times Sq.

    Haven't been to John's in Times Square but I am going to go ahead and say to go to the original on Bleecker. Good stuff

  17. QUOTE (Reddy @ Apr 23, 2012 -> 10:08 AM)
    to be fair, I said midtown, not manhattan. and i do hate williamsburg - primarily because i can't stand hipsters. at all.

    I am too lazy to go back but someone had said Manhattan

  18. Anybody who thinks Williamsburg and Manhattan "suck" is delusional, get out of your shell. There are things going on in both that don't happen anywhere else in the world.

    I was the biggest Chicago fanatic going into my trip into NYC having not been there in a long time, it is dirty, it is old, it is congested but it is f'n amazing. For how many negatives there are about that city, the positives simply destroy the positives of any town in America and almost any town in the world. Seeing so many different types of people living in the same area is awesome on so many levels. I will never forget walking into a very sketchy part of lower Manhattan (a type of area that if i walked into in Chicago, I would have gotten out very quickly), nobody even looked at us. Very grungy and ghetto but you see older white couples in some random bar drinking wine and walking around like it's nothing. Amazing town

    I will stay in Chicago though, much much cheaper.

  19. Places to eat

    Marlow and Sons - Brooklyn

    Birreria on top of Eataly

    ABC Kitchen

    Momofuku Ssam Bar

    Momofuku Milk Bar

    Luke's Lobster

    Ess-A-Bagel

    Wafels and Dinges

    Big Gay Ice Cream Shop

    Signature Vendors at Madison Square Garden are also amazing, by FAR the best food I have ever eaten at a stadium

  20. anyone ever been to the Garden for a Knicks game? Looking at tickets in different sections vs the Bulls on Easter and I guess there was some renovation there last year, which is better out of the areas of 103, 111, 221, 226? Any help is appreciated - the 100 levels are rows in the 20's

    Thanks

  21. QUOTE (Reddy @ Feb 29, 2012 -> 08:30 AM)
    And if you wear white sox gear prepare to get heckled. A lot. Yankee fans are the worst. I still go to all the Sox games tho. :)

    I'll be in NYC (again) in June for a bachelor party and Sox at Yanks, looking forward to it
