  1. I gave absolutely no details on the "magnitude" of anything and the good thing about a message board is that you can scroll past these (public) posts and move on. But after seeing you bash others for ruining the economy and the environment and saying things like "CPD gossip boys" to get your likes up on soxtalk, I was totally surprised to see you were from Oak Park. Stunning, and Brave!
  2. I was told about it a while ago and the supposed event was a few months back. This is all speculation but stories like this don’t typically appear out of nowhere and spread, especially when the sources are CPD. I hope it isn’t true but we will just end it here.
  3. No major sources other than some people I trust that have connections but hearing of a bad event that him and his brother were involved in with a female a few months ago and wondering if it is starting to get leaked.
  4. I 100% agree. This management team has proven in Denver they could find value all over the draft and via trades which have worked out for them more often than not. If it falls apart, Vuc is a legit trade chip. People already gave them $hit for drafting Williams early but the only person that may have clearly been a better pick was Haliburton and he slid out of the top 10. Just let AK and these guys do some actual work before we judge, it will likely take another year or so until we can.
  5. yeah, it's ridiculous. but let's just hope Lynn does his thing and it wouldn't even matter if Brent Lillibridge batted third. At least Leury has been pretty good the last month so there's that.
  6. This same company, Humbl has now partnered with Athlete's First, the 2nd largest agency in the NFL to strategically collaborate on Ticketing, Digital and NFT's. Humbl is a potentially explosive super-app and to partner with a group like Athlete's First and creating NFT's for players like Aaron Rodgers, Dak, Herbert, Justin Fields, Aaron Donald, Jalen Ramsey, Tua, John Lynch, Fletcher Cox, Steve Young, etc. could be absolutely massive in addition to their Crytpo ETF/ETX, hands free ticketing/events and eventual P2P/Merchant Pay with no borders on blockchain. They will be interviewed on Fox Business with Charles Payne this Friday. I've been in since 2 cents, would end up being one of the great Stock stories in history if/when it hits on their goals.
  7. I guess. Jackson worked (although he sucked last year). Mitch, Miller, Floyd did not. Big misses considering the importance and round those picks were made in. Their conviction sucks and the team is not as good as it could be because of all of the failed draft trades. They had to do it but If Fields doesn’t pan out, it will be another devastating blow to their future.
  8. Like the picks so far but the constant trading up to get their guy just proves that they don’t even trust their own scouting. They have eyes on one guy rather than multiple and so when they miss, it hurts bad because of their lack of depth. I fully expect another letdown of a season, I can’t drink the kool-aid anymore.
  9. It was a joke. But not completely off track if you fill in some other aging dorky QB’s for Henne and Gabbert. We’ve seen how many times they have failed to develop a quarterback.
  10. We know this story people. Dalton plays two games terribly, Fields comes in and shows flashes but not ready to win. Bears go 6-10, Matt and Ryan are maturing into their roles with no changes. Fields flames out, Chad Henne will battle him for starting position in 2023, Blaine Gabbert takes over as starter in 2024.
  11. For anybody interested in crypto but that does not want to put in the deep research, a company called Humbl is the first to have a Crypto ETX/ETF approved in the US. It buys and sells certain coins based on Artificial Intelligence and trends. It's a bit of a pain to sign up but easy once finished and available to buy on Coinbase, Binance and Bittrex. The gains have been great. Humblpay.com and go to the financial section. I'd also suggest looking into the company itself and ticker $HMBL - they have incredible potential, were just featured on CNBC and partnered with multiple athletes and celebrities as they evolve from early stages of a super app on the Blockchain.
  12. Not one person can tell you what will happen... It started out as a joke, I definitely would not suggest to throw a large chunk of our savings on it. If crypto ends up matching the market bubble, it could pop and you'd lose everything. This is coming from somebody who sold at 7 cents, I missed out on gains but who knows what will happen.
  13. I guess he could bench them for the other not good players.
  14. TLR hasn’t been great but honestly what is he supposed to do with players like Lamb and Williams around? They have no depth and no other options. Need Anderson back badly to get one of these schmoes out of the lineup.
  15. The west coast has never been kind to the White Sox, a few mishaps/errors that even high school teams don’t make that changed two games that will not continue to happen, Good Angels offense. I was going to be super happy with a split in this series, it is tough to watch with all the excitement and hype this year but it is WAY too early to freak out.
  16. I implore to watch some of his highlights on YouTube if you aren't familiar with his game. His offense is very impressive and even on some of the best defenders in the game, walking bucket. Can handle the ball, pass, shoot, great low post pivots and spin moves and aggressive taking it to the hole for a monster dunk when needed. He's actually what We hoped Lauri would become. It's going to be exciting seeing what him and Lavine, who both have not had another top offensive partner/option, can do together.
  17. Anytime you get the best player in a deal, you have to take the chance. I think the East is potentially more wide open in the next few years than people know. The Sixers will likely blow it up at some point as they continue to NOT win a title, the Bucks are not going to keep their extremely bloated payroll also to NOT win a title. Other than the Nets, every other team is highly beatable in the East. Vuc isn't a KD or Lebron level player but he's a beast. This is the same management that drafted Jokic and there are plenty of similarities between the two. He's also signed cheaply so if it doesn't work out, he's a great trade chip.
  18. Move Lauri for Ball or another solid PG and find a way to keep them together next 4-5 years and We got a potentially great squad. Lonzo (other)/Lavine/Williams/Vuc is no joke.
  19. This sucks and hindsight is 20/20 but I don't think anybody expects to pop the shoulder out simply by extending their arm in a normal direction over a fence. People freaked about Tatis yesterday so let's just hope for some good news.
  20. when the jaws come out that means you have a long road ahead of you at best, at worst...you know.
  21. Personally, I am good if either get moved if it is making the team better but at the same time, I think it is way too early to write off Lavine and Coby not being able to work together. Steph Curry has always been a better shooter but he wasn't exactly a great PG when he got in the league, either. Coby does need to gain more efficiency but it's a new position and system for him still. Lavine is a perfect example, he has gotten better every year in the league except Coby has done it for 2, Zach has done it for 7.
  22. If the Bulls keep playing at this level all year, they won’t be picking in the lottery at all. They’ve had one of the most difficult schedules in the NBA so far. They’ve won AT Dallas and Portland and almost snuck out both games in LA. In years past, we get blown out almost this entire road trip. 8 of their next 10 games are very winnable. This team has the talent to be in the playoffs and they are finally playing like it even if it’s not a perfect mesh. I do agree, there needs to be some movement to build the team they want and would be odd if they didn’t.
  23. I think everyone in this thread is correct and the fact that nobody can figure out who's fault it is proves that everyone needs to go.
  24. entertaining and many positives but the only thing that’ll stick out to me is that quick 3 from Lavine followed by WCJ not stepping up in the screen and allowing Hield the 4pt play. Wow, that was frustrating. That’s not coaching, that’s common sense and basketball IQ that they both should have at this level.
