I am in first place in this league and my team is as follows C - Russell Martin 1B- Jason Giambi 2B - Chase Utley 3b - Troy Glaus SS - hanley ramirez OF - carl crawford OF - delmon young OF - nick markakis util - jim thome SP - halladay lackey hamels cain schilling escobar lowry lincecum oliver perez nathan fuentes chad cordero eric gagne now with all of the giambi stuff going on, id rather get rid of him or pick up a better outfielder, i have been offered nick swisher (1B/OF) for lincecum and gagne. i know i can spare the closer (injury prone and bad team anyways) , but not to sure on lincecum - many say he is an injury waiting to happen. let me know what you all would do

I understand with what you are saying but here is a good example, would you rather Hawk's homerism? or do you remember a certain play on national TV in the ALDS.... Grounder from Uribe to Tony G.......... Chris Berman "OHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

C - Russell Martin 1B - Jason Giambi 2B - Chase Utley 3B - Troy Glaus SS - Hanley Ramirez OF - Carl Crawford OF - Delmon Young OF - Nick Markakis Util - Jim Thome SP - Roy Halladay SP - John Lackey SP - Curt Schilling SP - John Patterson SP - Cole Hamels SP - Matt Cain SP - Noah Lowry SP - Kelvim Escobar RP - Joe Nathan RP - Chad Cordero RP - Brian Fuentes RP - Octavio Dotel Obviously My pitching is a great strength, with Schilling being my 5th starter taken. I love my OF upside and speed as a team, but I am not sure if i should make a move for an established OF (upper tier or one who steals.) Any help would be appreciated. Oh and if you haven't noticed, I am a pitching freak haha

Funny story, Friday at the cubs vs sox game, he was about 20 rows behind me with this typical cubs woo cubs woo BS, i had my cubs sux shirt on and stood up and turned and started yelling sux over his famous WOO noise. The Sox fans around me started laughing and chanting along.....needless to say Ronnie (surprisingly) shot me a dirty look and walked away soon after. I loathe him
-
Well i was talking to him after the game in his car and he said "I just rolled it maaaaaaaaan"

I'm looking for some information on some nice golf courses around Tucson Electric Park, I will be going there next weekend and we are looking for a place to play on Sunday before we head back to Chicago. Any information, prices or websites would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news;_ylt=AhrW...p&type=lgns Chicago ace Carlos Zambrano struck out four and gave up one hit in two scoreless innings. He also made a couple of big predictions for himself and the Cubs. "I believe this year I will win the Cy Young and I will enjoy that," Zambrano said. "Besides that, we will win the World Series. I guarantee you that." Zambrano then backed off the last part a bit, saying he was almost sure the Cubs would win the World Series. Hardy HAR HAR HAR

QUOTE(beck72 @ Nov 13, 2006 -> 05:23 AM) Some people are speculating that Cotts could be traded. Realistically, that isn't going to happen. Some team would have to come in with an overwhelming offer. That isn't likely. The only teams that will overpay for a LH reliever are teams with a lot of cash and are perennial playoff contenders. Neal's horrible 2nd half of 2006 will scare those teams away. Other GM's will come with ridiculous low ball offers that KW should laugh at. Not to mention who could replace Neal. LH relievers are hard to come by. Jamie Walker will be very expensive, and he could go to virtually any team in the majors. Boone Logan probably isn't ready. So for what the sox could get in return for Neal, and the cost it would take to get a replacement, a trade probably isn't worth it. And what happens if Thornton has trouble. The sox would be back to square one with Neal gone. Can Neal bounce back and come near his 2005 and 1st half of 2006? Who knows [iMO, the workload of 05, coupled with the busy 1st half of 2006 when Neal had to pick up the slack left by Cliff not being reliable contributed to Neal's 2nd half drop.] But it's more likely than the sox picking up someone new to come in and put up those same numbers. Neal's 1st half was very respectable, posting a sub .300 ERA. It's his horrible 2nd half that most of us remember. For my money, Neal should stay. And have an eRA for '07 near 3.00 like his 1st half of 06. 2005 may have been a career yr for Neal. But something close to what he did then would still be very valuable spoke to soon

THANKYOU elrockinmt Which of these players do most of you enjoy watching now that took the Sox some time to groom? A. Jon Garland - other than '05 and gettin rocked earlier this year and being awesome later on in the years, nothing but high 4 ERA's B. Joe Crede - until this year never batted over .261 in a FULL season, defense ended up coming around in a MAJOR way C. Neal Cotts - 5.65 ERA in first full season, I remember all of you who were giddy about how good he was last year thhen jumped off the cottswagon - will PROBABLY and HOPEFULLY be alot better this year proving why he was a 2nd round pick out of ISU D. Jose Contreras ( to some extent ) - not a very good pitcher at all ( showed flashes, but still took time), almost singlehandedly put the team on his shoulders on his way to a ring. E. All of the above The correct answer is E, so lets take a look how these guys turned out Why not give Brian Anderson, a CF who makes Defense look effortless and easy, when our team is BASED on defense a chance to shine and let his hitting come around? 1st rounder for some reason or another - lets let him tell us why P.S. Joe Borchard is the major exception in my post haha

Any help would be appreciated.
